"Heaven" has been the object respected by people since ancient times. It comes from the intuitive experience of the ancients."Tian" represents the top of the head of people in oracle bone inscriptions, which was later extended to the sky,and finally interpreted as the supreme meaning by Xu Shen. The change of this concept shows that the ancients gradually realized that the status of "heaven" was higher than that of "man",and that people needed to live by the heaven.Heaven is closely related to man, which was similar to the connotation of "heaven" in Erya. From the content of Shi Tian, the "heaven" in Erya has both natural and humanistic connotation. The first nine chapters of the interpretation of "heaven" are about the natural heaven, while the last three chapters are about the social life of human beings under the support of "heaven",which is the heaven of humanity. This shows that ancient people have realized that "heaven" plays an important role in human life, and "heaven" in Erya is not only the natural heaven in the pure sense.Scholars of all dynasties have expounded on "heaven".The concept of "heaven" has been given new meanings with the changes of the times.Different commentators’ comments on "heaven" in Erya are also mixed with their views on heaven. The heaven of Li Xun and Guo Pu is the natural and pure heaven of physics. In Xing Bing and Lu Dian, the sky is natural, but it is high and far away.Shao Jinhan’s heaven is simple materialism, and heaven has its own rules of moving.Hao Yixing’s heaven is noble, and heaven has "tao",heaven can not be violated.Erya was written between the Warring States period and the Han Dynasty.During this period, the pre-Qin scholars also elaborated on "heaven".And each school has different understanding of "heaven".After the pre-Qin scholars, the later scholars’ exposition of heaven also showed diversified characteristics. The ancient people’s exposition of "heaven" included the rational cognition and philosophical thinking of heaven. The past interpreters have different interpretations of Shitian, comprehensive analysis of their annotations,we can find that the length of their interpretation content is different, the cited literature is more and more detailed with the development of the times, and sometimes the connotation of quoting the same literature is very different. Most importantly, they think the same thing differently, such as the interpretation of the connotation of "Di",the explanation of the original meaning of "sweet rain" and "Liquan",the reason why the original twenty-eight stars Shitian contained only eighteen stars, and the meaning of "Guixuan".The paper summarizes the differences of various commentators on Shitian, and seeks the reasons behind the differences through these differences;simultaneously, compare the words in Shitian with the interpretation of other ancient literatures, such as Shuowen,Shiming and Shijing, analyze their differences in connection with the historical background at that time, combined with the exegetical methods of ancient characters, and summarize the differences in their interpretation.Through the analysis of Erya · Shitian and its annotation,it is found that the interpretation of Erya contains rich cultural connotation in ancient China. The shape of "round sky and place" reflects the ancient concept of space and political order. The astronomical phenomena and star image instruct people to carry out farming, offer sacrifices to gods or ancestors, field hunting and other activities in time, and also show the norm of ceremony in all respects. It can be said that the interpretation of "Shitian" vividly interprets the concept of the unity of heaven and man. This paper tries to explore the cultural connotation, and from these cultural connotations,to spy on the ancient social style and situation,in order to further understand the ideological status and spiritual outlook of the ancients.
