Explanation Of The Documentary "Water Village Intangible Cultural Heritage: Stepping On The White Boat

Jiaxing‘tabaichuan’ has a profound historical and cultural heritage.There are many legends and stories about it.It is the crystallization of the wisdom of the people in the water town for thousands of years.The water town in the south of the Yangtze River has bred a unique sport event.It is closely related to Jiaxing,which permeates the spiritual temperament of the south of the Yangtze River.This boat-based sport not only carries the memories of the older generation,but also an epitome of boat culture.However,with the acceleration of urbanization,it gradually fading out of sight and facing the problem of inheritance.At present,Jiaxing‘tabaichuan’ has been protected.It has become a reserved item of the annual Jiaxing Folk Culture Festival,and has also been included in the third batch of intangible cultural heritage list of Zhejiang Province.This documentary focuses on a fleet in Jiashan fishermen’s village,and shows this folk sport with regional characteristics.The work includes the shootings of the training and competition of this fleet,and the interviews with the team members and the staff of the ship Culture Museum.In this way,we can truly show the unique charm of Jiaxing‘tabaichuan’ and enhance people’s awareness of protecting and inheriting it.Based on my work,this paper will explain it from four parts: the first part includes the elaboration of topic selection,research methods and relevant literature,the second part includes the outline of the film title,introduction of main characters and theme expression,and the third part describes the creative process,including three stages:preliminary preparation stage,medium-term shooting stage and post-editing stage and the fourth part is the brief analysis and creative experience of the work.
