| When judging the weight of an object,it is often necessary to integrate the incoming information of different sensory channels to make comprehensive decisions. Its information sources mainly include visual afferent pathway and somatic sensory afferent pathway. However, when judging the weight of an object, there may be inconsistencies in the incoming information of the two sensory pathways. In addition, there are differences in visual sensitivity to color between men and women, and whether this difference also has an impact on weight judgment. This study takes these questions into account to study the influence of object color and gender of participants on the reaction of object weight judgment through experimental research.Experiment 1:The subjects were asked to rank the weights of six kinds of colored spheres by the dual comparison method only through visual observation, and the order of"black>red>blue>green>yellow>white" was obtained.Kruskal-Wallis test was carried out with the transformed "Z’"value, and it was found that there were statistical differences in the visual weights of objects with different colors(p<0.01).Experiment 2:After constant stimulation method, the weight difference value required for this experiment was 2g.Based on this weight difference, the light ball group and the heavy ball group were divided into weight variables, the gender of the participants was set as the participant variable, and the six colors involved in Experiment 1 were used as color variables, and 36 pairs of comparison terms were formed by Latin sorting and pairing. The experiment requires participants to compare pairs and judge the severity and weight, with the sequence reaction as the dependent variable. The main effects analysis showed that there was a statistical difference(p<0.01)between the male and female groups in judging the response,in which the mean response was 4.35s for women and 3.80s for men and women. There were also statistical differences in the judgment responses between different color pairs in the participants(p<0.01).Regression analysis was carried out by synthesizing the data from experiment 1 and Experiment 2:the visual weight and somatosensory weight of each sphere were integrated, and the "comprehensive weight difference" of each pair of spheres was calculated. The"comprehensive weight difference" was taken as the independent variable and the corresponding reaction time was taken as the dependent variable for regression analysis. The regression analysis results of "comprehensive weight difference" and reaction judgment showed R2=0.74(p<0.01).Conclusion:The color of the object can have an influence on the weight difference of the object when judging the response. And in the process of comparing and judging the difference in the weight of the object, women are more affected by the color of the object than men, mainly because the judgment time of female subjects is longer than that of men. |
