Under the guidance of WDSF sports dance scoring rules,it is an important way to improve the competitive level of Chinese rumba dancers to explore the commonness and differences of rumba duality between Chinese and foreign excellent Latin dancers and explore the methods and strategies to improve the arrangement and training of rumba dance routines.In this paper,literature research method,expert interview method,video analysis method,comparative analysis method and other research methods are used to analyze the rumba duet of eight outstanding Chinese and foreign Latin dancers in 2018 WDSF GOC professional group and 2019 WDSF German Open Group A.Based on WDSF3.0 scoring rules,combined with the structure of scoring rules and expert opinions,the video analysis index is determined.On this basis,the technical shortcomings of rumba double coordination between Chinese and foreign players are compared to make an objective analysis and evaluation,and the shortcomings of Chinese players in the technical aspects of rumba double coordination are deeply analyzed.The countermeasures on rumba choreography and training are put forward for Chinese contestants,so as to improve the performance of competition.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)In terms of belt leading mode,the number of connected belts of Chinese players is lower than that of foreign players,and the communication times of unconnected belts are higher than that of foreign players.However,the advantage of unconnected belts of Chinese players is not obvious,which indicates that Chinese players have more time to complete movements without contact,and the cohesion between movements is not dense.The distribution of belt guide is not as balanced as that of foreign players,and the form is relatively simple,not rich enough and lack of innovation.(2)In terms of holding,the holding style of Chinese players and the frequency of change of movement position of male and female dance partners are significantly lower than that of foreign players.Except for shadow holding,which has the same mean value of domestic and foreign players,other holding styles of Chinese players are lower than foreign players.In terms of left-handed holding,two-handed holding and relative side-line holding,domestic and foreign players are less involved in the whole,with little difference.(3)In terms of space use,the flow route of Chinese players tends to be straight,while foreign players are more curved and curved lines.The flow range of foreign players’ route is wide,and Chinese players’traveling route is limited.In the comparison of horizontal and vertical spatial levels,it can be seen from the overall comparison changes that foreign players use more spatial positions and change more frequently than Chinese players,and Chinese players have fewer spatial position changes in Rumba,which is relatively simple.(4)In terms of partner synchronization,the number of times of Rumba synchronization of Chinese dancers is more than that of foreign dancers,but the overall significant difference is not significant.It can be seen that Chinese dancers have focused on strengthening the normative training of basic steps and the training of tacit pair cooperation,and have further improved in terms of partner synchronization.However,in the aspect of rumba modeling extension synchronization,foreign players extend more times and more diverse than Chinese players,and Chinese players still have problems such as incomplete completion of extended movements and incomplete integration degree of movements and music.(5)In terms of the stability of the difficulty movements,both Chinese and foreign players played the rotating and flexible movements stably.However,the rotation difficulty coefficient of foreign players in rumba dance competition was higher than that of Chinese players,and the difficulty movements varied.Skill movements are related to individual physical quality,which indirectly reflects that foreign players’ body control ability and muscle ability are higher than domestic players.(6)Objective factors influencing the differences in rumba coordination skills of domestic and foreign players include different development history and culture,different physical characteristics,and different training content and teacher level.(7)Suggestions to improve the rumba duet coordination skills of Chinese dancers include:in the arrangement of routine,improve the diversification of coordination forms,including the richness of belt leading methods,the diversification of holding and connecting methods,the variety of movement route positions,improve the synchronization of basic elements and increase the skill movements;In terms of rumba training,movement techniques and coordination should be improved.Firstly,coaches should reasonably arrange training tasks according to the changes of the scoring rules of duo coordination,strengthen the special physical training of contestants,and improve their control ability and muscle endurance.Secondly,the competitors should plan training objectives and tasks according to their own conditions,and constantly improve their technical level and the quality of corresponding movements to achieve the improvement of competition results.
