social and cultural connotation. It also carries the most real spiritual and emotional demands of individuals. The writer’s writing on the body is to think about some common problems of human beings from point to area by paying attention to individuals. At the same time, body writing also emphasizes the presence of the writer’s personal body, including the writer’s unique understanding and understanding of the world. It is an expression of aesthetic ideal. As a writer of sensory experience,Su Tong’s body has not only become the medium of his own perception of the world, but also a window for him to convey aesthetic experience and humanistic care.Starting from the body,Su Tong has become a poetic forest road to Su Tong’s sensory world. Therefore, through the research on the body writing in Su Tong’s novels, this paper not only analyzes the causes of Su Tong’s body consciousness, tries to show Su Tong’s unique humanistic care and personal experience, but also reveals the historical context and gender characteristics of his body writing,so as to explore the creative personality and philosophical meditation contained in Su Tong’s novel body writing. This paper is divided into six parts. The introduction first combs the discovery of the body in the history of philosophy and aesthetics from the theoretical level, and defines the concept of body writing.Secondly,by sorting out the research data of Su Tong’s body writing in the current academic circles,it comes to the conclusion that there is still a large interpretation space around the subjectivity of the body in Su Tong’s novels. Finally,it expounds the purpose and value of this paper. In order to better restore the era context of Su Tong’s novel body writing, the first chapter combs the context of body writing in the history of Chinese modern and contemporary literature from a macro perspective.Through sorting,we can find that the body writing in the May 4th period revolved around the liberation of personality and had the meaning of cultural criticism; The failure of the great revolution in the 1920 s and1930s made the content of the Chinese revolution change from the individual appeal to the national collective level. The body writing is inevitably branded with politics. The body writing in revolutionary literature is attached to the propaganda of ideology and has become the mainstream of body writing. In addition, this stage also includes the desire body writing in the novels of the new sensation school and the body writing under the aesthetic observation of writers such as Xiao Hong; The war background in the 1940 s made the body writing inevitably assume the function of reality criticism. The writers represented by Lao she reflected the dark reality through the morbid writing of the body.On the other hand, the writers represented by Zhang Ailing deconstructed the political and moral connotation behind the body; From the 17 th year to the cultural revolution, body writing revolved around social revolution and class struggle, and the body was presented as a collective "big self";In the 1980 s,body writing gradually bid farewell to the grand discourse conventions and moved towards independence, and the subjectivity and self belonging of the body were highlighted; The body writing after the 1990 s is carried out under the dual influence of commercial culture and consumption context, showing the characteristics of the mixture of literature and commerce.Through combing,we can find that body writing has experienced a tendency from being gradually obscured by grand discourse to gradually returning to the individual, and then eroded by consumer culture to desire and simplification. However,Su Tong’s creation did not become kitsch due to the erosion of consumer culture. He continued to pay attention to the individual in his body writing under the return of humanitarianism in the 1980 s,showed the physical daily life of marginal figures without moral criticism, and presented various possibilities of life existence. The second chapter divides the body categories in Su Tong’s works into the following three categories: the figurative body, the body in the gender dimension and the metaphorical body, which includes Su Tong’s Thoughts on physical deformity, the suffering of women’s childbirth, sexual repression, the painful situation of soul and flesh separation and so on.Generally speaking, body writing mainly includes two levels: one is to point to the physiological level of the body, and the other is to reveal the era, spirit and cultural meaning contained in the body.Su Tong did not separate the two,but went deep into the cultural level through the practical attention to the physiological level of the body from the outside to the inside. The third chapter explains the artistic function of Su Tong’s body writing. Here,Su Tong’s body is not a simple plane symbol, but an essential existence of human beings.Su Tong highlights the perceptual initiative of the body.He delicately and sensitively captures the pain, feelings, desires and demands of the body, making the body the subject of speech, and then through unique artistic ideas, either let the body participate in the narrative process,or let the body become a supplement to the narrative,Or become a window to see the character’s spiritual and emotional world, which enriches the content and emotional expression space of the text. The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the causes of Su Tong’s body writing. His childhood illness experience indirectly caused Su Tong’s sensitivity to his body, which became a direct carrier of lonely experience and inferiority complex. His slender and sensitive mind helped him go deep into the texture of life and capture some unusual feelings and experiences.Market life and southern culture affected his way of thinking and aesthetic preference,as well as his intuitive outlook on life, which affected his reflection on the relationship between the world and existence. These factors affect the content and presentation of his body writing. The fifth chapter reveals the significance of Su Tong’s novel body writing.Su Tong’s literary edifice has always been built on the cornerstone of human nature.Su Tong focuses on the physical existence of each individual. He penetrates his brush strokes into the ordinary daily life of those marginal people, and restores the ambiguous, real and vivid picture of folk life from the most basic physical activities of clothing, food, housing and transportation as a head up viewer,The demonstration of individual life feeling makes the grand history from an abstract symbol to a concrete existence carrying personal memory recognized by the body.At the same time,in the process of body writing,Su Tong integrates the real subjective experience and life feeling, and reveals his unique philosophical meditation in the aesthetic observation of the body. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Body writing, SuTong’s
