Verb is an important part of language vocabulary, and the auditory verb is a part of sensory verbs, which plays an important role in understanding and studying the language. Both Chinese and Japanese auditory verbs are the basic vocabularies in their respective language systems. However, their expression, semantics, grammar and other aspects are relatively complex and have great differences. Therefore,a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the similarities and differences between Chinese and Japanese Auditory Verbs is useful to know the language and promote the development of Chinese language teaching. From the perspective of diachronic and synchronic, this paper uses the theories of contrastive linguistics and cognitive linguistics to make a comparative study of the similarities and differences between Chinese and Japanese auditory verbs, and on the basis of the comparative study, analyzes the errors and puts forward corresponding suggestions for teaching Chinese as a foreign language. In terms of diachronic research,on the basis of analyzing the diachronic evolution of Chinese and Japanese auditory verbs,a comparative study of the semantics and grammar of Chinese and Japanese auditory verbs is carried out,and the reasons for the phenomenon of vocabulary replacement are also explained. On the one hand,it summarizes the similarities and differences in the semantic extension of Chinese and Japanese auditory verbs, and on the other hand,it takes “闻” and 「闻く」 as the specific research objects to conduct a comparative analysis of their syntax and semantics. At the same time, based on the corpus, the reasons for the phenomenon of vocabulary replacement are analyzed. In the process of language development, the Chinese auditory verb “闻” was gradually replaced by the more colloquial “听”under the influence of the Chinese vernacular movement and disyllabicization. The transformation from auditory verbs to olfactory verbs has been completed, but Japanese auditory verbs do not have vocabulary replacements because the two sides complement each other. In terms of synchronic research, taking the main auditory verb “听” in Chinese and the main auditory verb 「闻く」 as the research objects, the syntactic-semantic characteristics of the two are analyzed, and the syntactic-semantic similarities and differences between Chinese and Japanese auditory verbs are summarized on this basis. In terms of semantic extension, the Chinese auditory verb " 听 " emphasizes the processing of cognitive information, while 「闻く」pays more attention to information acquisition,so it is different in the extension path.In addition, due to the influence of the grammatical system, the grammatical functions of Chinese and Japanese auditory verbs in sentences are also different. Finally, based on the HSK dynamic composition corpus, this paper analyzes the auditory verb use of Japanese Chinese learners and puts forward teaching suggestions. This paper analyzes the corpus containing “听”,divides the types of errors, analyzes the causes of errors, and puts forward some teaching suggestions on auditory verbs. In the teaching process, the same meaning should be supplemented, complement collocation learning and contrast exercises should be strengthened, and the content of the textbook should be perfected so that students can better master the use of auditory verbs.
