Quantifier is an important feature of modern Chinese grammar and also one of the difficulties in international Chinese teaching.As a branch of Chinese quantifiers,noun-quantifiers have a complex relationship with nouns.In addition,noun-quantifiers themselves are semi-open parts of words with a large number.These characteristics will also bring certain difficulties for overseas students to learn noun-quantifiers.Therefore,noun-quantifier teaching is always one of the hot issues in academic research.In order to investigate the difficulties in the acquisition of noun classifiers,this paper searches the errors of noun classifiers used by overseas students in the global Chinese interlanguage corpus.It is found that overseas students are not effective in the acquisition of generically used noun classifiers "ge",table shape noun classifiers and some near-sense noun classifiers.As difficulties in the acquisition of overseas students,these noun classifiers should be paid attention to in teaching.Therefore,in view of these acquisition difficulties,this paper further examines the selection and arrangement of nominal quantifiers in representative textbooks,and makes a specific analysis of the textbooks from the aspects of word recurrence rate,example sentence,interpretation,practice and so on.Finally,we find that there are still deficiencies in the arrangement of some nominal quantifiers with a high error rate in the textbooks.In our opinion,we should deal with these problems from the following aspects:(1)For the noun-quantifier which is explained more in the textbook but which is still biased by international students,we can use the categorization of noun-quantifier to improve the teaching and strengthen the interpretation of noun-quantifier so as to enhance the teaching efficiency;(2)We should adjust the content of the textbook appropriately and supplement the noun-quantifier which is not fully arranged in the textbook.The innovation points of this paper are as follows:(1)Based on the global Chinese interlanguage corpus,this paper conducts a detailed investigation and analysis on the errors of noun classifiers from Grade 1 to 4 of the International Chinese Language Education Chinese Proficiency Level Standards.Combined with data statistics,it can more accurately find out the difficulties in nominal-quantifier acquisition of primary and pre-intermediate Chinese learners,and also determine the teaching focus.(2)This paper tries to use the categorical noun-quantifier classification method to put forward effective teaching suggestions in view of learners’ errors and deficiencies in textbook arrangement.The deficiency of this paper is that the noun classifiers scope is narrow,the error analysis is not comprehensive enough,and there are still limitations.
