From the late 1970 s to the 1980 s,"New Period Literature" was influenced by the changes of the national movement, the trend of the times, and the harbinger of the times. It became the forerunner of the changes of the times and social changes and the important engine of the whole nation’s ideological liberation movement. After the "scar literature",the "reflective literature",which focuses on the way out of the peasants, the tragic character and destiny of the intellectuals, the pain and contradiction of the "public servants" and carries out social analysis with a rational eye, rose in the literary world. It expands the artistic expression of literature, promotes the deepening of realism, and has high ideological and cultural value and academic research value.Needless to say,due to the limitations of the writer’s individual cognition, the inertia of social consciousness, the turbulent atmosphere of the times and other reasons,"reflective literature" inevitably has shortcomings and limitations.Nowadays, nearly half a century has passed, which has opened a certain space-time distance and provided more possibilities for us to re-examine "reflective literature".Although there have been many academic achievements in the study of "reflective literature",there is still a lot of research space for holistic inquiry, and the trend after its "ebb tide" needs to be further sorted out and explored. Therefore,it is both beneficial and necessary to re-study and re-reflect on "reflective literature".The thesis is mainly divided into three parts : introduction, text and conclusion. The introduction part defines the concept of "reflective literature" in the new era, clarifies the significance of the topic and the research ideas, briefly combs the current research status of "reflective literature" in the academic circle, and classifies it according to the different research directions. The body part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter mainly gives a general overview of the literary phenomenon of "reflective literature".On the one hand,it explores the origin of its creation from the perspective of domestic ideological liberation, the influx of Western literature and the individual suffering experience of writers. On the other hand,it takes the breakthrough of political restricted areas and the return of human nature as the entry point to make a macro grasp of the subject matter of "reflective literature".The second chapter analyzes the limitations of "reflective literature" based on the current perspective, and carries out a comprehensive reflection from the two dimensions of ideological content and modern consciousness, mainly from the continuation of the political motif, the weakening of reflection under the moral inheritance, the dissolution of individual discourse, and the absence of intellectual suffering and self-consciousness.The third chapter comprehensively and objectively grasps the literary path of further deepening of literary reflection. It combs the development of "reflective literature" in 1980 s literature,1990 s literature and new century literature, mainly from the cultural focus of "root-seeking novels",the historical review of "new historical novels" and other literary phenomena. The conclusion part draws the conclusion that literary reflection has never ended.Based on the present, the "reflective literature" that has been "historicalized" is placed in the historical field of the 1980 s for re-reflection,trying to review and re-examine with the contemporary vision and knowledge system.By exploring the internal limitations of "reflective literature" and the innovative development of literary reflection,it is repositioned in order to help literature face the new era, explore the deepest part of the human spiritual world, climb to the peak of artistic quality, and realize artistic innovation.
