In the 1970s,under the guidance of reform and opening up,China made great achievements in economy,politics,culture,education,science and technology.In particular,great changes have taken place in urban construction and the development level of people’s living standards.The high-rises rising into the clouds,the fast moving cars,and the common reinforced concrete gradually come into people’s vision.Therefore,in the field of art,there appeared batches of urban theme landscape painters,who tried to innovate,on the basis of traditional landscape painting language,innovative contemporary landscape painting techniques.This paper tries to solve the problems in my creation practice by studying the brush and ink techniques and aesthetic characteristics of contemporary urban landscape painting.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly describes the development process of urban landscape painting,and analyzes the development trend of modern and contemporary urban landscape painting.The second chapter mainly studies the inheritance and innovation of brush and ink techniques in the creation of contemporary urban landscape painting,including the relationship between brush and ink,brush and ink structure,brush and ink style and texture innovation,and analyzes the aesthetic characteristics of contemporary urban landscape painting,including the beauty of rhythm and rhythm,the beauty of form,the taste of brush and ink.The third chapter mainly summarizes the personal creation practice and creative ideas.After many attempts of new brush and ink,I innovate boldly,learn lessons and sum up experience,and try to find my own brush and ink language in the creation of contemporary urban landscape painting.
