Buddhist Master Hongyi Poetry Study

Master Hongyi had 97 poems,14 Ci,40 lyrics for his lifetime.These works are not only the artistic reappearance of the poet’s life experience and the spiritual world,but also the specific practice of rational thinking such as the poet’s artistic conception and religious apperception.The life consciousness and love for country are important themes which upholding the artistic view of " recognition first and then literature ".His works show a high-profile,beautiful and calm artistic style for conscious pursuit of implicit and innovation.He absorbs traditional music teaching and foreign educational ideas and his lyrics are both literary and cultural,so far widely sung.His poetry reflects the persistent pursuit of truth,kindness and beauty,which match es his religious idea after being a monk to protect all livings,and the seriousness for poetry writing,self-discipline and strict requirement of Buddhism self-cultivation reflect the pursuit of the ultimate realm of life.The poems provide us a new way to know this literature personage and Buddhist senior monk.This paper takes poetry as the research object,following rigorous stylistic analysis consciousness,and makes a comprehensive combing to the poetry.Based on accurate text study : just on poetry,we discover the artistic characteristics;to understand the person,we know his life experience,psychological state and value orientation,while looking at the universal living state of the literary people of the time;to view the world,we obtain a specific understanding of the social reality of the time;to seek doctrine,we realize the general view of literary creation and religious cultivation.Seven parts in total.The introduction part introduces the origin of this thesis,analyzing the academic and realistic application value of the topic,comprehensively collecting and analyzing the research achievement obtained in the academic circles,understanding the current situation of related research,while finding the academic research space this topic,and defining and explaining the important concepts.From Chapter 1 to 3,it is divided according to the three categories of poetry,Ci and lyrics,using rigorous boundaries and standards,comprehensively cobming and analyzing their different text attributes;analyzing performance content and artistic personality with creation background;"knowledge of the world",recognizing the author’ unique contribution and historical positioning in literary history while knowing the world and person through literary text.The fourth chapter makes a special chapter statement on the Buddhist poetry and lyrics to analyze the universal value for predecessors and Buddhism philosophy.The fifth chapter focuses on analyzing the commonalities reflected in poems,words and lyrics and finds the literary basis of religious conversion in these works to achieve the general interpretation view of poetry and Buddhist cultivation.The rest part of the theory summarizes the innovation point and puts forward the problems unsolved so far,and provides reference ideas for the follow-up research.
