| In recent years,online literature has responded to the call of the times to "tell a good Chinese story" by combining the history of China’s industrial development with the contemporary context of "Made in China" and "the rise of a great nation",and industrial themes.The rapid development of online novels has fully manifested the Chinese dream of China’s national industry taking off.This paper studies and composes industrial-themed online novels with the theme of "Made in China",examining the artistic characteristics of industrial-themed online novels and the thinking of the times they highlight,in the hope of providing useful references for the creation of industrial-themed online novels in the future.In terms of structure,the paper has four main chapters.The introductory section compares and reviews relevant research on realistic and industrial-themed online novels,and explains the research ideas of the article.The first chapter of this article examines the cultural logic behind the rise of industrial-themed online novels.Industrial-themed novels have taken on the task of presenting China’s industrial modernisation process and manifesting industrial culture.This creative characteristic can still be found in industrial-themed online novels.In recent years,the focus on the "rise of a great nation",the popularity of the "industrial party",the rise of a new generation of readers and the guidance of official policies have made the idea of "industrial power" a major factor in the emergence of industrial novels.The industrial-themed online novels were born out of the era.Industrial-themed online novels have constructed a new aesthetic tendency,and at the same time become a quality choice for authors to externalize and project their own desires and satisfy their own sense of pleasure through industrial imagination.The second chapter of this article focuses on the content characteristics and thematic connotations of industrial-themed online novels.Industrial-themed online novels are often written in a "chronological" mode,showing the development trajectory of China’s industrial history.The novels construct collective memories through chronological details and write industrial epics.Industrial online novels portray typical characters such as "reformers","saviours" and "strugglers",and write the history of the development of Chinese national enterprises.The fourth chapter of the novel focuses on the development of Chinese national enterprises and the pursuit of the dream of a "big country".The third chapter of this article analyses the plot patterns and aesthetic paradigms of industrial-themed online novels.Authors of industrial-themed online novels make good use of"golden fingers" such as traversal and rebirth,as well as common textual settings such as"systems" and "upgrades" to incorporate realistic elements such as the development of China’s industrialisation and the protagonist’s The authors of the novels make use of the common textual settings such as travel and rebirth,as well as "system" and "upgrade",to incorporate realistic elements such as the development of China’s industrialisation and the personal growth experience of the protagonist into the "formula" of online literature.The novels focus on industrial technology and production processes,often using the narrative modes of"knowledge" and "competition" to construct industrial legends.In "knowledge"-focused industrial online novels,the authors use science and technology and theoretical knowledge as narrative threads,with the protagonist’s "knowledge accumulation" as the main line;while in"competition In the industrial-themed online novels with "competition" as the core,the main line is "technological progress and enterprise competition",showing the process of the protagonist’s enterprise establishing absolute competitive advantage in a certain field with technology.The fourth chapter of this article focuses on the limitations of industrial-themed online novels.Firstly,the excessive emphasis on the writing of knowledge and technology has led to the suspicion of "falling out of literature",serious homogenisation and a lack of literary quality.Thirdly,the image of women is generally labelled and schematised,reduced to a tool for support,and even to the extreme tendency of excessive masturbation;fourthly,some novels fail to grasp the "principle of moderation",showing "excessive drama Fourthly,some novels fail to grasp the principle of moderation,presenting the characteristic of "excessive drama" and lowering the overall cultural tone of the work.The concluding section of this article summarises the significance of industrial-themed online novels.They advocate the idea of a strong country in science and technology,show the role of a large country in narrative,shape the pride of the people,construct the dream of a strong country,cause readers to resonate with them,and gather the spiritual power of "Made in China". |
