The Creative Characteristics And Performance Interpretation Of Zhang Zhao’s Numa Ami

Zhang Zhao is a composer of ethnic minorities in China.His music creations cover a wide range of genres and are skilled in incorporating traditional Chinese musical elements into his music works.The piano piece "Numa Ami" integrates ethnic music elements.This paper takes this piece as the research object and discusses it from two aspects:creative characteristics and performance interpretation.Through the study of the composer’s life profile and his music creation,the author has further thought on this basis.Based on the musical characteristics of the music,this study explores the use of ethnic materials in the repertoire,and further analyzes the ethnic music elements presented in the work.It also analyzes and studies some performance difficulties and the mastery of music style during performance,including key touching methods,rhythm and beat,speed and strength,and the use of pedals.At the same time,a comparison of performance versions is also included,The track was explained through visual music analysis.Through the writing of this article,the author has gained a further understanding of Zhang Zhao and his musical works,as well as a deeper understanding of Chinese piano music and traditional Chinese music culture.It is hoped that this article can provide some reference for performers studying this piece.
