The translation material is selected from The Flipped Classroom Practice and Practices in Higher Education(Chapters 4-5).In Chapter 4,the author analyzed and then compared the results of exams and homework before and after flipped classroom,so as to accurately investigate the various details of all aspects of the flipped classroom.In chapter 5,the author explored what students are asked to do in a flipped classroom environment and at the same time,showed how students are required to participate independently in addressing issues so that the value of flipped classroom learning can be truly realized through this approach.The selected text is highly professional and represents the latest research results in this field,which has great implications for the development of this new educational model in China.With so many specialized words in the field of pedagogy and complex sentence structures,the translator finished the translation practice report from the perspectives of words and attributive clauses.In terms of vocabulary,the translator chose the approaches of conversion,addition and word meaning selection.And after giving the analyze of the characteristics of attributive clauses,the translator chose to translate them into pre-attributes,parallel structures and independent sentences.This report can provide enlightenment for the related research on the flipped classroom practice in China.
