Getta Donizetti is a famous Italian composer in the period of Romanticism.Among his many works, one of the more brilliant opera works, the comedy opera Don Pasquale,is the research center of this paper. From ancient times to modern times, the analysis of characterization and artistic characteristics in opera works has been the topic of most scholars in the vocal music field. In my in-depth study,I found that the study of the composer Donizetti mostly concentrated on the study of tenor vocal works, creative style, ensemble works, etc. The study of soprano aria in opera works mainly focuses on the characterization of characters, the analysis of work style and the analysis of singing.Few scholars have gone deep into the specific work analysis from the perspective of coloratura singing skills, and very few in the coloratura flaunting skills of Donizetti’s opera aria “Quelguardo”.In view of this, the research object of this paper is selected as the aria “Quelguardo” in“Don Pasquale”.Through the method of document consolidation, example analysis, and logical deduction, the coloration singing technique of the aria “Quelguardo’” is analyzed from three aspects: the use of breath in singing, the coordination of breath and resonance, and the treatment of melody and rhythm.Through the grasp of the technique, the flexibility, granularity, and lightness of the melody are enriched,Make the whole work more complete and the character more full, and integrate this singing skill into the classroom teaching practice, starting from the author’s own learning experience and the dual identity of the trainee teacher,to provide the following learning and singing experience for the majority of scholars. This paper is divided into three chapters. The first chapter briefly describes the life of the composer Donizetti and the plot of his opera “Don Pasquale”.The second chapter focuses on the techniques of coloratura singing from three perspectives: the use of breath in singing, the coordination of breath and resonance, and the treatment of melody and rhythm.Through in-depth analysis, the singer can enhance his understanding and mastery of the key and difficult points of the work,so as to carry out targeted singing training and improve his musical expression ability. The third chapter is to apply the techniques of coloratura singing to the actual classroom teaching, effectively transform the “learning” from the students ’perspective to the “teaching” from the teachers’ perspective, and transfer their own learning gains and actual singing experience to the majority of vocal learners to help them sing.
