In the second half of the 19 th century,Brahms was born at the peak of romanticism,but always adhered to the classical tradition music structure of Germany and Austria.He,Bach and Beethoven are called the "three B" in the history of German music,and they represent the three eras of classical music respectively.Brahms’ works have both classical techniques and romantic spirit.His symphonic works are magnificent and with their own distinctive characteristics.He does not stick to the traditional creative techniques of the classical period,but combines the passion of romantic music with the rigorous classical form structure to form his own unique creative style.He boldly used innovative creative techniques to create composition techniques such as unfolding variation.Make a great contribution to the development of music.In this paper,Brahms ’three string quartet(Op.51 no 1,Op.51 no 2 and Op.67)were analyzed to understand Brahms’ creative style and ideas,as well as the innovation of structural thinking,composition techniques and thematic development techniques in the creation process.Through the thematic framework,thematic motivation,acoustic vocabulary and polyphonic technique of the three string quartet,we understand the overall thinking development and structural thinking of the composer.Through the comparative analysis of these three works,the author learns the composer’s creative thinking and structural thinking,discusses the extension and innovation of Brahms’ creative techniques from a unique perspective,and expounds the influence of Brahms’ s unique musical vocabulary and contemporary music works.
