As the demand for excellent public relations professionals rises,increasing universities are offering public relations courses,and the question of how to create an effective learning environment is a worthy topic.The text chosen is chapters 6-8 of the pedagogical book Teaching Public Relations and Practices for Effective Learning.The text focuses on the teaching of public relations,discusses how teachers should combine theory and practice,and gives advice on how to build effective classrooms and create a good learning environment for students.The nominal structure,the passive voice and the attributive clauses are typical features of academic works.The author uses a case study approach to discuss some typical issues in the translation of the text from a lexical and syntactic perspective.In order to better convey the original information of the source language,the author mainly adopts the translation methods based on communicative translation and dynamic equivalence theories.The translation methods include conversion,amplification,change of passive voice,and meaning extension.The aim of the translation practice report is to enrich the translation practice in this field and explore the translation methods applicable to similar genre texts,so as to provide reference for translators in this field.
