Gabriel Fauré(1845-1924),is the most influential French composer in European music history,and is known as "Schumann of France" by later generations.Fauré’s creation in his life is mainly concentrated in the field of artistic songs and piano.His works are fluent in tune,concise and symmetrical in structure,and profound in emotion.They are outstanding representatives of French traditional style.Fauré’s symbolic and innovative application of harmony techniques,tonal colors and melody themes in his works leads French traditional music to a new height.In Fauré’s piano works,the piano solo "Ballade" Op.19 is of unique significance.It is the beginning of Fauré’s early creative style becoming mature.The article is based on Fauré’s "Ballade" Op.19 As the main research object,through the research on the creation background,creation style and early creation style of Fauré’s works,it provides a theoretical basis for a more accurate understanding of the performance style of the works,and through the research on the creation techniques,performance skills and performance version comparison of Fauré’s “Ballade” Op.19,it provides practical experience for the performers.The article consists of three chapters.In the first chapter,the article mainly discusses the brief introduction of Fauré’s life and the main piano works of Fauré’s early,middle and late creation periods,and discusses the creation background of Fauré’s “Ballade”Op.19.The second chapter is based on Fauré’s “Ballade”Op.19 Starting from the discussion of his writing style,this paper discusses his early writing style by analyzing the characteristics and development of French traditional music in the same period.Summarize Fauré’s“Ballade”Op.19’s creative style: the changeable harmonic tone,the proper use of the semitone system,and the beautiful melody wrapped in the gorgeous and smooth texture language are also the unique creative characteristics of Fauré.At the same time,it summarizes the early creative style of Fauré and its formation context: the adherence to traditional French music elements brought by the nationalist trend of thought,the semitone creation technique influenced by Wagner,the extreme sensitivity to sound color derived from symbolism and impressionism,and the strong romantic color learned from Saint Saens.The third chapter is the analysis of the creation techniques and performance techniques of the work itself.Combined with the contents of the first and second chapters,it discusses the composition structure and creation techniques of the work,and gives the author’s own practical experience in performance techniques.At the same time,it makes a comparative analysis of the performance versions of the two masters,John Philips Corral and Wang Yujia,for the reference of performers. |
