| Wu Mi is an important literary theorist in the modern times of China.In his construction of ancient Chinese literary theory,with the background of Chinese and Western culture,he focused on literature as the standard,highlighted the important significance of "humanity",and had certain aesthetic consciousness and modern consciousness.This paper mainly starts from Wu Mi’s thoughts on ancient Chinese literary theory,integrates diachronic and contemporaneous aspects,and compares Wu Mi’s thoughts on ancient Chinese literary theory from different dimensions and levels in combination with his different cultural identities,so as to grasp the theoretical basis and characteristics of expression of Wu Mi’s thoughts on ancient Chinese literary theory,and explore the method of constructing Wu Mi’s thoughts on ancient Chinese literary theory.This paper summarizes the concrete achievements of Wu Mi’s thought on ancient Chinese literary theory,and finally evaluates the value and limitation of Wu Mi’s thought on ancient Chinese literary theory.The introduction discusses the academic career of Wu Mi,organizing the related research were reviewed,and points out the significance of research this subject.The first chapter discusses the origin and characteristics of Wu Mi’s thoughts on ancient Chinese literature.Based on the theoretical background of Confucian humanism and Western new humanism,this paper makes an overall study of the context in which Wu Mi’s thought of ancient Chinese literary theory came into being.Then,this paper probes into the specific connotation of Wu Mi’s thoughts on ancient Chinese literary theory and analyzes its aesthetic and modern characteristics.The second chapter analyzes Wu Mi’s construction method of ancient Chinese literary theory.Firstly,from the perspective of Chinese and Western cultural thoughts,the macroscopic purpose of "changing the quintessence of Chinese culture and melting new knowledge" and the microscopic influence of the "one" and "many" relationship between Chinese and Western cultures on Wu Mi’s thoughts on ancient Chinese literary theory;Secondly,from the perspective of literary theory,this paper discusses the unification of the study of internal aesthetic characteristics and the study of external moral reason,that is,the influence of the unified expression of "literary self-discipline" and "literary heteronomy" on Wu Mi’s thought of ancient Chinese literary theory.Finally,from the perspective of literary research concept,this paper discusses the importance of the construction method of classical literary view on aesthetic tendency to Wu Mi’s thought construction of ancient Chinese literary theory.The third chapter points out two great achievements of Wu Mi’s ancient Chinese literary theory: "Poetics" and "redology".The poetics section mainly studies the three levels of "differentiation of poetry and prose","Theory of three Realms" and "differentiation of form and quality".The study of "redology" mainly discusses the artistic techniques and typical features of novel creation,and on this basis,makes a rough discrimination between "poetics" and "redology".The fourth chapter to evaluate Wu Mi ideas of literary theory in ancient China.It points out the value and limitation of Wu Mi’s ancient Chinese literary theory in the history of modern academic thought.To study Wu Mi’s ancient Chinese literary theory can not only give a deeper understanding of Wu Mi’s own academic achievements,but also guide people to pay more attention to the spirit of traditional literature objectively and rationally.Combining the methods and viewpoints of ancient Chinese literary theory with some western literary theory,Wu Mi analyzes and summarizes the works with traditional Chinese cultural genes,fully embody the characteristics of ancient Chinese culture,strengthens the connection between traditional culture and modern cultural space,and helps us to understand the various contradictions of intellectuals in the transition period between the old and the new.He has made concrete contributions to the construction of Chinese literature and Chinese literary theory. |
