A Study On Manchurian Construction Hardworking Unitary Team

In 1939,the Japanese and Manchurians jointly launched the "Manchurian Construction Hardworking Unitary Team",which was based on the German labor service system.The main purpose of the team was to remedy the failure of the "One Million Households Immigration Plan" and to increase food production in "Manchuria," thereby solving the plight of Japan’s food and fodder shortage.Through the special form of "emigration" of regular "hard work and service",group "hard work education" was provided to deepen the "mainland awareness" of the Japanese youth.After their return,they actively promoted the export of "Manchurian immigrants" to create a continuous flow of immigrants and assist in the completion of the Japanese immigration program.In this process,the "Manchurian Construction Hardworking Unitary Team" performed both economic and educational functions,and was no less aggressive and military in nature than the "Gathering Exploitation Corps" and the "Manchurian Exploitation Youth Volunteer Army".Thus,the study of "Manchurian Construction Hardworking Unitary Team" is essential.This paper is divided into four parts in chronological order to study the "Manchurian Construction Hardworking Unitary Team".The first part mainly discusses the process of the establishment of the "Manchurian Construction Hardworking Unitary Team".After the July 7 Incident of 1937,a series of problems arose in Japan and the "Manchukuo" under its control.In order to solve the problems of food shortage in Japan caused by the expansion of the war and the obstruction of the implementation of the three "national policies" of "Manchukuo",the Japanese "Manchukuo" began to actively prepare for the establishment of the"Manchurian Construction Hardworking Unitary Team”.The second part compares the activities of the teams in the early stages of the "Manchurian Construction Hardworking Unitary Team",focusing on the activities of the youth and student teams after their return to Japan and their contribution to the "development of Manchukuo".The third part focuses on the development of the "Manchurian Construction Hardworking Unitary Team and Service Team".With the increasingly tense situation of the Pacific War,Japan’s dependence on Puppet Manchurian was greatly increased,and the plundering of food was intensified,and the "Serving Country Farm" was widely set up in Puppet Manchuria for emergency food production.The fourth part summarizes the nature and harm of the "Manchurian Construction Hardworking Unitary Team".As the main part of the team,the long-term hardworking unitary team was continuously engaged in agricultural production,and shared the same tasks and missions as the general agricultural immigrants with immigrantion nature.The women’s team was part of the "Migrant brides" policy,acting as a settlement tool for young male immigrants.In addition,both the student team and the long-term hardworking unitary team had a strong military dimension.The "Manchurian Construction Hardworking Unitary Team" as a whole was extremely aggressive,cooperating with the Japanese invaders in plundering resources in northeastern China and forcing Chinese youths to perform intensive labor,which brought great disasters to Chinese and Japanese youths,especially Chinese youths.
