This paper mainly discusses Japan’s control of the post and telecommunications industry in northeast China during the puppet Manchu period, and analyzes the consequences of its control over the post and telecommunications industry in northeast China. The paper is divided into four parts. The first part mainly discusses the general situation of the post and telecommunications industry in the northeast region before the 918 incident. With the introduction of Western civilization and the invasion of passenger mail,it had an impact on China’s traditional communication organization, and the traditional post post gradually declined, the Wen Newspaper Bureau was abolished, and the Civil Information Bureau was able to rise.In this context, the post and telecommunications industry in Northeast China has gradually developed in modern times.Under Li Hongzhang’s proposal and preparation, the customs tried to set up postal services, and gradually developed, and finally the Daqing Post was opened. In the Republican period, the post was separated from the customs, and the Daqing Post was renamed China Post, and the development of the post and telecommunications industry was very good.At the beginning of the 20 th century, the conflict between Japan and Tsarist Russia became more intense, especially after the Russo-Japanese War,Japan’s invasion of the northeast region became more rampant, they continued to expand their influence, and began to develop telegraph and telephone technology on a large scale, which greatly weakened the sovereignty of the northeast region,so that the postal sovereignty of the northeast was constantly divided by outsiders. The second part focuses on Japan’s initial control of the post and telecommunications industry in Northeast China in the early period of Manchukuo.Japan fostered and established a puppet Manchu puppet regime, manipulated the puppet Manchu puppet regime to forcibly take over the Northeast Post, issued puppet Manchu stamps, and usurped communication facilities, profiting enormously. The Nationalist government in Nanjing imposed a postal blockade on the northeast region in order to resist Japan’s bad behavior, but it ended in failure. The Manchurian Telecommunications and Telephone Company was an institution established in Japan under the guidance of the "theory of control" and was responsible for the unified management of telegraph, telephone, and broadcasting in Tohoku.By discussing the internal management and business conditions of the company, this paper analyzes the initial control of the post and telecommunications industry in Northeast China by Japan in the early period of Manchukuo. The third part discusses the strengthening of Japan’s control over the Northeast post and telecommunications industry in the later period of the Manchukuo. From Japan’s invasion of China to Japan’s defeat, this period was a period in which Japan strengthened its control over the post and telecommunications industry in Tohoku. It mainly refers to the change in the management of the post and telecommunications industry and the change in the business situation within the company, including the expansion of telegraph and telephone services, the establishment of new radio stations, etc.,and also involves the implementation of "compulsory savings" in Japan. The fourth part mainly analyzes the influence of Japan’s control over the post and telecommunications industry in northeast China: first,it provided economic support for Japan’s foreign expansion and provided a guarantee for Japanese colonial rule in China;Secondly,it has seriously interfered with the lives of people in the northeast region; Finally,it interrupted the modernization process of China’s post and telecommunications industry. |
