Zhui Baiqiu edited by Qian Decang is a very important eclectic drama anthology in Qing Dynasty.The legendary eclectic drama of Ming Dynasty included in it has certain representability and typicality.Judging from the selection feature of Zhui Baiqiu,Qian Decang attaches great importance to the interpretation of love and history as well as to the propaganda of enlightenment when he gathersthe highlights from operasof the Ming legends,which is not only the inheritance of the creative characteristics of the Ming legend itself,but also the consideration of the audience’s aesthetic taste.In terms of the plot,Qian Decang always collected the transition plot,climax plot and the popular hot plot.In terms of aesthetic characteristics,Qian Decang recorded the secular aesthetic concept and simple aesthetic style.Qian Decang’s choice of the highlights from operasof the Ming legends is closely related to the social economic,political environment and cultural background at that time,which is also the reflection of his own theme of "the unification of entertainment and education".In addition,taking Sixty Kinds of Songs and Ancient Chinese Opera Series as comparison books,this paper makes a detailed comparison between the Ming legends and the highlights from operasof the Ming legendsin Zhui Baiqiu,so as to explore the systematic and textual characteristics of the drama.In terms of the systemcharacteristics,after continuous processing,adaptation and even creation,the highlights from operas of the Ming legendshas formed a very obvious "performance system",which is more flexible and free in structure.For the needs of the actual performance,and considering the age and personality characteristics of the characters in the play,the adaptor can also adjust and restructure the original foot color,which not only improves the fit degree of the characters and foot color,but also adjusts the heat and cold of the stage.And complete stage prompt,cheerful and vulgar speaking and flexible up and down also make the Ming legends full of new vitality and vitality.In terms of text features,the characters and story themes of the highlights from operasof the Ming legendsin Zhui Baiqiu show a trend of vulgarization,and the dramatic plot is also more prominent.The addition of gags and conflicts makes the scene laugh constantly,which is easier to attract the audience’s interest in the play.
