A Study On The "Survival Dilemma" In Sh Uang Xuetao’s Novels

In recent years,Shuang Xuetao’s novels about "Northeast" have been constantly discussed and defined by writers,critics and various related fields,so that his novels are labeled with various forms,and such definitions are single in nature and one-sided.Shuang Xuetao’s novels have the characteristics of multi-dimension and individuation,but they also show the consistent core in multi-dimension and individuality--the universal presentation of all kinds of survival dilemmas derived from individual life in the development and change of social history.An overall study of Shuang Xuetao’s novel creation from the perspective of "survival dilemma" has reference significance for sorting out and summarizing the uniqueness of his novel creation.This presentation is connected with individual physiological and psychological states,value judgment,human fate and other representations,and jointly witnesses the short or long term,explicit or implicit institutional regulations and institutional changes in social history brought about by the "pain".With the "Northeast" as the background and source of motivation,Shuang Xuetao’s novels are by no means the Northeast narrative in the general sense.The individual survival predicament presented by Shuang Xuetao through the "Northeast" is a universal individual experience,which mainly includes the physical,mental and real survival dilemmas brought by social development and reform and universal ideology.However,these dilemmas did not disappear with his "walking out of Northeast China",but ran through the spiritual core of his novels,presenting multiple thematic implications of humanity,suffering and survival,and indirectly revealing the real face of social history.Shuang Xuetao is not the first person to write about the dilemma of survival,but it shows a new direction of creation.While writing about the predicament,he also provided a way to get rid of the hopeless situation,reflecting his concern for the ordinary and forgotten individuals,showing his social responsibility and compassionate humanitarian feelings to fully intervene in the reality.
