The Unreal Engine is a leading 3D game engine that has also been used for animation in recent years.The purpose of this article is to introduce Unreal Engine to animation.First,the article introduces the basic features of the Unreal Engine and some of its applications in animation,as well as the similarities and differences with traditional technology.As a multi-platform 3D game Engine,the main functions of the Unreal Engine include graphics rendering,physics system,blueprint editor,etc.,which can also be used for animation.The advantage of the Unreal Engine over traditional 3D animation is that it provides excellent rendering in real time,allows movement to flow more naturally,supports multiple devices,and allows cross-platform playback and real-time viewing of the final result.Secondly,the article introduces the Unreal Engine in the production of the short animated film Etc.It can be used to produce various types of films,including short films,TV programs,animated series,etc.,but also to explore new styles of animation production.It also discussed the advantages and disadvantages of using the Unreal Engine production process in the short animation Etc,as well as the new visual effects of using Unreal Engine.Finally,it looked at the problems the Unreal Engine has encountered in animation and how to fix them.While the Unreal Engine is powerful and can be used in a wide range of areas,from virtual filming to game development to VR experiences,what is more important is that it offers a wide range of creative opportunities for animators,which is exciting to see.In conclusion,the use of the Unreal Engine in animation can not only bring more flexibility to animation,but also help animators complete their creations faster and with less effort.This is a powerful,futuristic,and hopefully a mainstream engine for animation.
