"The scenery of the North,with thousands of miles of ice covered and thousands of miles of snow floating," Chairman Mao’s depiction of the magnificent and heroic scenery of the North,fully demonstrating the characteristics and temperament of the Northeast region using literary methods.However,the creation of ice and snow in the Northeast region in traditional Chinese painting has not attracted widespread attention and research from the academic and painting circles due to various reasons.In the creation of traditional Chinese painting,snow landscape painting is only represented by means such as leaving a white method,which is quite reminiscent of the light snow in the south of the Yangtze River.There is no ice and snow landscape technique that specifically represents the vast and heroic artistic conception of the northeast region.Winter in Northeast China is very long,with the annual ice cover period of over six months and snow cover period of over seven months in places such as the Great Khingan Mountains.Therefore,ice and snow are of great significance to Northeast China.Yu Zhixue is committed to the performance of ice and snow in the northeast region,conducting in-depth research on the use of painting materials in Ice and Snow Painting,regional creative techniques,and other aspects,and improving the techniques for specifically expressing the characteristics of ice and snow images in the northeast region,to a certain extent promoting the performance of ice and snow in the northeast region.This article will use methods such as image analysis,document analysis,and field investigation to deeply explore the development process of the creation of Ice and Snow Painting in local chronicles,and explore its "regional" characteristics and outstanding contributions to the creation of Ice and Snow Painting in the Northeast region;Analyze the performance characteristics of Ice and Snow Painting in the Northeast region and super regional themes of Yu Zhixue,as well as the integration of the Ewenki themes.This article will conduct in-depth research based on the impact of regional and ethnic cultures on local chronicles and their creative motivations,providing theoretical and background support for further analysis of Yu Zhixue’s ice and snow paintings,and hopes to further enrich and enhance the theoretical creation research of Ice and Snow Painting in the Northeast region through the analysis of individual cases and works.This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly describes the reasons for choosing this topic,the current research status of local and foreign experts and scholars on the history of Ice and Snow Painting,and the research methods used in this article.The second chapter is mainly about the history of local chronicles and the creation of Ice and Snow Paintings.Taking Yu Zhixue’s life as the background to study,analyze and summarize his art learning and Ice and Snow Painting creation process.The third chapter focuses on the three typical stages of Yu Zhixue’s works in various periods,using image analysis to analyze the characteristics of specific representative works and comb out the style changes of Yu Zhixue’s ice and snow paintings.This section will ultimately summarize the regional factors such as the natural characteristics and human environment that form the style of Ice and Snow Painting in Yu Zhixue.The fourth chapter starts from the following three aspects of the subject matter of Yu Zhixue’s ice and snow paintings,and further analyzes the performance characteristics of their Ice and Snow Painting.1.Starting with changing the use of painting materials and creating regional creative language,this article analyzes the personality characteristics of Yu Zhixue’s original works on the northern ice and snow theme;2.From Yu Zhixue’s proposition of "cold culture","cultural countercurrent",the theme of "three pole painting" and the Ice and Snow Painting that represent the theme of Huangshan,explore his exploration and expression of super regional ice and snow themes;3.Expounding his personality characteristics in the cross disciplinary fusion of Oruguya Ewenki and ice and snow themes such as hunters and reindeer.The fifth chapter is the impact and value analysis of Yu Zhixue’s Ice and Snow Painting.His Ice and Snow Painting have influenced a large number of creators and formed a new painting school in Heilongjiang,the "Ice and Snow Painting School".
