With increasing pressure in modern society and increasingly fierce internal competition,group lifestyles are also changing.In society,some non-mainstream cultural methods have gradually emerged,reflecting the dynamic development of cultural trends under the pressure of modern social systems.Among them,in Dali,there is a group of people who deviate from the mainstream social way of life.They are mainly characterized by low desire and moving to Dali.In this regard,the author aimed the camera at four low-desire groups who moved to Dali.By explaining their life stories and inner emotions,he constructed a visual expression scene of non-mainstream lifestyles,and used the method of deep imagery to reflect the shallowness to the deepest.The living conditions and spiritual connotation of this group have completed a documentary that reinterprets the lifestyle changes.This dissertation is a work interpretive thesis supporting the graduation work documentary " Another Way of Life".Based on the creative practice of " Another Way of Life",this paper will mainly start from the "deep description" theory of ethnographic research methods,deconstruct the data accumulated in the early stage of the work,The mid-term shooting process,the post-camera images,the creative process of the relationship between sound and picture,supplemented by observation methods and in-depth interviews,finally made a systematic exploration of the low-desire groups who moved to Dali,breaking the public’s "imagination" of non-mainstream lifestyles.This paper is divided into five parts: the introduction introduces the origin,background and related literature review of this research;"Symbolic Expression: A Comprehensive Presentation of Living Space" discusses the symbolic existence of the protagonist’s existence from two levels of nature and environment.Space;"Deep Imagery: The Practical Course of Group Documentary Documentary" analyzes the acquisition of work materials and the method of juxtaposing the group portrait presentation of the content of the work from the creation process of the work;The focus falls on the group’s interaction with itself and others,and answers the changes brought about by nonmainstream life for the group;the conclusion part summarizes theThe meaning of deep image depiction of non-mainstream lifestyle.
