Research On The Aesthetic Culture Of Yangzhou Urban Bridges

Yangzhou is a historical and cultural city that thrives on water,with major waterways such as Hangou,Yangtze River,Ancient Canal and Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.The city is crisscrossed by rivers and ditches,dotted with lakes,and abundant in water resources.The more water,the more bridges,so Yangzhou has also been a famous bridge city since ancient times.According to the author’s incomplete statistics,there are more than 170 bridges in Yangzhou urban area,including more than 30 major ancient bridges and 139 major modern bridges;There are more than 60 bridges with artistic appreciation in the urban area,including more than 40 garden landscape bridges and more than 20 urban landscape bridges.Therefore,this paper selects Yangzhou urban bridges as the research object,and studies the aesthetic problems of Yangzhou urban bridges from the perspective of aesthetic culture,which is not only of great significance for revealing the aesthetic and cultural nature of bridges,but also can further enrich people’s spiritual and cultural life.In view of this reason,this paper mainly adopts the research method of combining literature query and fieldwork,and tries to solve three problems,namely,what kind of artistic structure does the Yangzhou urban bridge have,whether the Yangzhou urban bridge forms a beautiful landscape with the surrounding scenery,and what poetic cultural significance the Yangzhou urban bridge has.Therefore,this paper conducts a comprehensive and in-depth study of the aesthetic culture of Yangzhou urban bridges in five chapters:"Overview of Yangzhou Urban Bridges","The Artistic Structure of Yangzhou Urban Bridges","The Landscape Aesthetics of Yangzhou Urban Bridges","The Poetic Cultural Significance of Yangzhou Urban Bridges" and "Yangzhou Bridges in Literature and Art"."Overview of Bridges in Yangzhou City" is the historical premise of this study.Collect the existing information of Yangzhou ancient bridges from the records and classics of Yangzhou Dynasties,and strive to have a more comprehensive understanding of these ancient bridges.Secondly,field investigation and statistics were carried out on modern bridges in Yangzhou urban area.On this basis,the modern bridge and the ancient bridge are compared and analyzed,so as to accurately grasp the characteristics of modern bridges in Yangzhou urban area.This chapter also discusses the aesthetic construction rules of bridges,providing a reasonable theoretical basis for the formal beauty of bridges."The Artistic Structure of Yangzhou Urban Bridges" is the key to this paper,focusing on the perceptual form of bridges,mainly from the perspective of aesthetic appreciation,discussing the combination of practical elements,architectural elements,and other elements with ornamentation,and gradually revealing the artistic structure characteristics of bridges in Yangzhou urban area.Such as pavilion bridge structure,covered bridge structure,tower bridge structure,pavilion bridge mixed structure,as well as water wave structure,willow leaf structure,rainbow structure,paper cut structure and Chinese Zither structure,etc.,all have their own characteristics and wonderful."Landscape Aesthetics of Bridges in Yangzhou Urban Area" shifts the gaze to the surroundings of the bridge,from the water body to the garden,from the moon to the light,analyzes the aesthetic landscape formed by the bridge and the surrounding environmental elements,and shows the aesthetic taste of the Yangzhou people."The Poetic Cultural Significance of Famous Bridges in Yangzhou City",mainly studies the representative and landmark classic bridges in Yangzhou,analyzes the landmarks,aesthetics and culture of these bridges from three aspects:historical origin,architectural characteristics and aesthetic and cultural significance,and aims to inspire the construction of bridges in the new era.Finally,this paper discusses the aesthetic presentation characteristics of Yangzhou Bridge in literary and artistic works,from poetry to painting to photography,and discusses the presentation of Yangzhou Bridge as an aesthetic image in various literary and artistic works,so that readers can intuitively understand the aesthetic value of Yangzhou Bridge.In short,Yangzhou urban bridge not only has traditional aesthetic characteristics,follows the general architectural aesthetic rules,but also has unique Yangzhou characteristics,carries the rich regional cultural connotation of Yangzhou,reflects the unique aesthetic taste of Yangzhou people,and gradually becomes the aesthetic cultural symbol of Yangzhou.
