| With the continuous development of informatization and intelligence, the penetration rate of mobile phones has increased significantly.Mobile phones have brought great convenience to contemporary college students and become an indispensable part of their study and life. However, some of the excessive or inappropriate use of mobile phones by college students has also brought them many physiological or psychological problems, and mobile phone addiction has become a topic of increasing concern to psychological researchers.Previous studies on mobile phone addiction mainly focused on behavioral characteristics and influencing factors.Although there are studies on the characteristics of cognitive processing of addicts,it is found that mobile phone addicts will produce more attention bias to mobile phone-related information, but this feature is specifically caused by the mechanism of attention bias.It is still unclear, and there is also a lack of intervention in the attention bias of addicts on the basis of mechanism research. Therefore, this study uses a combination of questionnaire survey and behavioral experiment to explore the characteristics and internal mechanism of attention bias of mobile phone-related pictures of mobile phone addiction college students, and whether bias training can effectively correct the attention bias characteristics of addicted subjects and alleviate their mobile phone addiction tendency. In the first study, the ’College Students’ Mobile Phone Addiction Tendency Scale ’(MPATS)was used to screen out 40 college students in the mobile phone addiction group and 40 college students in the non-mobile phone addiction group.Using the spatial cue paradigm,2(picture type:mobile phone related pictures vs neutral pictures)× 2(experimental group:mobile phone addiction group vs non-mobile phone addiction group)× 2(stimulus presentation time:200ms vs 500ms)× 2(cue validity:cue valid vs cue invalid)mixed experimental design was used to explore the characteristics and internal mechanism of mobile phone addiction college students ’ attention bias to mobile phone related pictures.Study 2 used a 2(picture type:mobile phone-related pictures vs neutral pictures)× 2(experimental group:mobile phone addiction group vs non-mobile phone addiction group)mixed experimental design to more directly measure the attention maintenance component of theparticipants to mobile phone-related pictures. In the third study, the subjects of the mobile phone addiction group were divided into the attention bias training group(15 people)and the control group(15 people). The attention bias training was used to explore the effectiveness of attention bias training in alleviating the tendency of college students ’ mobile phone addiction. The results are as follows:(1)Study 1 found that the internal mechanism of mobile phone addiction college students ’attention bias to mobile phone-related pictures was attention maintenance, while the non-mobile phone addiction group did not show the above characteristics.(2)Study 2 found that college students with mobile phone addiction had longer attention to mobile phone-related pictures, while the non-mobile phone addiction group did not have a preference for attention to pictures.(3)The results of Study 3 show that bias training can reduce the attention processing of mobile phone-related pictures and reduce the addiction level of mobile phone addicts. Conclusion:Under the experimental conditions, the internal mechanism of mobile phone addiction college students’ attention bias to mobile phone related pictures is attention maintenance.Attention bias training can effectively improve the attention bias characteristics of mobile phone addiction college students and alleviate the tendency of mobile phone addiction. |
