The Application Of Miao Batik Art In Ceramic Decoration Design

Since ancient times,decorative art has been evolving and progressing with the development and demand of human society.With the progress of society,decoration is an important way for people to express the needs of the spiritual world,and the object of decoration takes things close to life as the main body,thus forming the artistic scene of "from life and serving life".Ceramic as a combination of craft materials and art,in the process of development,through the change of people’s aesthetic concept,continuous integration of various decorative art forms,evolved into both artistic,practical and cultural types of art.Miao batik art can be said to be "blue and white porcelain painted on cloth".With its unique shape,rich patterns and bright colors,it has distinct regional characteristics,artistic style and aesthetic value,which conforms to the creation needs of designers in various fields and the aesthetic pursuit of modern people.In order to further explore the application of Miao batik art in ceramic decoration,this paper reviews its historical development,production,art characteristics and its application in other design fields from two aspects of theoretical research and practical research.This paper discusses the reference and application of Miao batik art in other design fields,analyzes the feasibility of its pattern elements color elements and expression forms in ceramic decoration design,and applies them in creative practice.Adhering to the concept of inheritance and innovation,this creation aims to find new ways to integrate the batik art and ceramic decorative art of the Miao ethnic group.Enrich the content of ceramic art decoration,and explore a new path for the cross-media communication of the batik art of the Miao ethnic group.
