| The opera ’Cang Yuan’ is a milestone work in the history of Chinese national opera.Through exquisite conception and a fusion of Chinese and Western music,it presents the story of Torghut in the form of opera.Since its debut in 1995,after years of baptism,this opera still exudes infinite artistic charm.This article takes the character image shaping and aria singing of the protagonist Narengaowa as the starting point for research.Chapter One introduces the research background and significance,explores new breakthroughs in character shaping,and specific research methods based on existing research reviews.Chapter Two provides an overview of the opera ’Cang Yuan’ through historical tracing and a brief introduction of the plot.Chapter Three analyzes Narengaowa’s character image from three aspects:cultural and historical background,script content,and aria singing,integrates Narengaowa’s character image with personality psychology theory,explores the inner motives of character traits and behavior,enriches the inner imagination of performance,and provides new perspectives for secondary creation of character shaping.Chapter Four conducts a comprehensive study on the aria ’Love Song’ from the aspects of music and singing.By grasping the musical characteristics of the aria and the music image of Narengaowa from both lyrics and music structure,it combines the psychological integration of Narengaowa’s character image in Chapter Three,proposes the differences between concert singing of the aria and opera performance,explores how to present a rich character image to the audience without relying on the plot in concert singing,and provides specific analysis of the emotions and techniques in aria singing to guide singing practice. |
