| As one of the most important philosophical movements of the twentieth century,the phenomenological movement set off a huge wave in the French intellectual circles in the first half of the twentieth century,and thinkers represented by Sartre,Merleau-Ponty,Mikel Dufrenne,and others applied phenomenological methodology to the aesthetic field and further developed phenomenological aesthetics.Phenomenological aesthetics takes the theory of intentionality as the core,which can be divided into two important components: aesthetic experience and aesthetic object,and aesthetic imagination plays an irreplaceable role in aesthetic activities composed of aesthetic experience and aesthetic object.Various phenomenological aesthetes have different views on the relationship between perception and imagination in aesthetic experience,Sartre believes that aesthetic perception and aesthetic imagination as pure consciousness exist in a mutually negative antagonistic relationship between the two,Merleau-Ponty believes that aesthetic imagination as a mirror plane of aesthetic perception,and presents a state of intertwining with it in the field,and early Mikel Dufrenne,suppresses aesthetic imagination under aesthetic perception,as it turns to natural existentialism,he gradually began to face up to the equal relationship between aesthetic perception and aesthetic imagination.When aesthetic imagination operates in aesthetic experience,it often reflects the characteristics of negativity,structure,transcendence,etc.,and brings many aesthetic effects such as aesthetic sensibility,aesthetic truth,and aesthetic depth.In the field of aesthetic objects,aesthetic imagination provides realistic or unrealistic aesthetic distances for the birth of aesthetic objects,and aesthetic objects have achieved complete development with the help of aesthetic imagination,and further become aesthetic objects with broken or rounded aesthetic worlds.Because of its intuitive characteristics,aesthetic imagination can provide a specific viewing style for aesthetic intuitive activities,which makes it have a natural kinship with visual image art.In the intuitive visual aesthetic image activities,the aesthetic imagination either follows the rigid law of image consciousness or follows the dynamic field of view triggering law,realizing the complete development of aesthetic activities.Visual graphic art often transcends real-world archetypes,exhibiting a specific aesthetic style,and ultimately brings about the existential truth. |
