Tang poetry is brilliant and colorful in traditional Chinese culture,containing a large amount of language knowledge,cultural connotation and life content,and has certain teaching value in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Among the Tang poems of various themes,the landscape idylls are relatively simple,vivid and beautiful,which is suitable for intermediate and advanced Chinese learners to learn.Based on this,this research will start from understanding the historical inheritance of Tang Dynasty landscape idylls,analyze the relevant value of Tang Dynasty landscape idylls,and then investigate and analyze the teaching status of Tang Dynasty landscape idylls in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and select appropriate teaching methods based on the results of investigation and analysis combined with literature research,carry out specific teaching practices,and then put forward some practical and effective teaching strategies about Tang Dynasty landscape idylls according to the actual teaching effects and postteaching reflections,hoping to arouse the attention of teachers of Chinese as a foreign language to Tang Dynasty landscape idylls.It can also provide some reference and help for them when teaching Chinese as a foreign language.In the early stage of writing the thesis,the author learned some concepts and historical inheritance of landscape idylls in the Tang Dynasty by flipping through the literature,which laid a good foundation for the theoretical part.Then,in order to grasp the current situation in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the author adopted three research methods: classroom observation,questionnaire survey and teacher interview,analyzed and summarized their current situation,and then selected the teaching of landscape idylls in the Tang Dynasty by using the situational teaching method as the main method and supplemented by a variety of teaching methods according to the results and literature,and finally tested the research results through teaching practice,reflected on the actual teaching effect and proposed relevant improvement measures.Through research,the author draws the following conclusions:(1)For students,the Tang Dynasty landscape idyll pays attention to rhyme,and its strict rhyme can provide students with excellent phonetic learning resources,which has a certain role in promoting the elimination of bias in students’ phonetic intonation.(2)For teachers,the Tang Dynasty landscape idylls are rich in content,which is of great help for teachers to help Chinese learners understand some Chinese vocabulary in China and the cultural connotations contained therein,which can narrow the distance between teachers and students and enhance cultural resonance.(3)For the Tang Dynasty landscape idyll itself,it not only contains language knowledge such as pronunciation,vocabulary,and grammar,but also contains China’s profound cultural connotations.This characteristic of the Tang Dynasty landscape idyll is in line with the purpose of spreading language knowledge and Chinese culture in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,learning the Tang Dynasty landscape idyll can allow Chinese learners to appreciate the ancient Chinese landscape idylls,understand the poets’ leisurely and weak thoughts and emotions,taste the beauty of the Chinese landscape idylls,and thus show the great charm of the Tang Dynasty landscape idylls and Chinese culture,so as to improve Chinese learners’ interest in learning Chinese poetry and learning Chinese.
