Ye Shengtao’s Children’s Prose From The Aesthetic Perspective

Ye Shengtao is a famous educator and the earliest writer of children’s literature in China.In recent years,academic research on its editing and publishing,Chinese education,literary creation and other aspects has begun to take shape,and the genre of fairy tales in its children’s literature has always been a research hotspot.But apart from fairy tales,ye shengtao’s works in other genres of children’s literature are also of great research value.His children’s prose are deeply influenced by his aesthetic thoughts,nourishing the beauty of childlike interest,language and emotion,and providing suitable literary works for children to enhance their interest,cultivate their aesthetic ability and shape their values in happy reading.This thesis is divided into four chapters to explore ye shengtao’s children’s prose from the aesthetic perspective.The introduction explains the origin and research value of this topic,literature review and academic history review,innovation points and research methods.The first chapter introduces the basic situation of Ye Shengtao’s children’s prose.The creation process roughly experienced before and after the founding of the People’s Republic of China.Among them,Kaiming Mandarin Textbook was compiled under the reform of Chinese language curriculum at that time.With its characteristics of daily life and colloquial language,it caused a great influence in the educational and publishing circles at that time and won the favor of young readers.Among them,38 children’s prose are rich in content,covering all aspects of children’s life;There are various types of prose,including narrative,like landscape,lyric and reasoning.The second chapter makes a detailed analysis of the aesthetic features of Ye Shengtao’s children’s prose.First of all,Ye Shengtao’s children’s prose contains the beauty of children’s fun,and the innocent atmosphere between the lines can arouse children’s interest in reading and resonance.The expression tone is naive and sincere,the thinking and imagination are simple and interesting,the setting of the story is wonderful and touching.Secondly,Ye Shengtao’s children’s prose contains the beauty of language,using vivid and beautiful language suitable for children to read,can improve children’s perception of language beauty,rhetoric beauty,visualization,painting sense;Finally,Ye shengtao’s children’s prose contain the beauty of emotion,paying attention to the warm and sincere feelings in children’s life,and subtly shaping children’s values through the description of the warm feeling of treating people,the love of nature and the pursuit of true kindness.The third chapter traces the origin of aesthetic features in Ye Shengtao’s children’s prose works.It is mainly discussed from three aspects: first,the embodiment of Ye Shengtao’s personal experience and thought,family life,traditional education,teaching practice,personal aesthetic thought system all have an impact on the formation of his aesthetic characteristics;Second,it was caused by the historical trend of The Times.The change of children’s view,the influence of the Vernacular movement,the popularity of the philosophy of love and beauty all made Ye Shengtao’s children’s prose show certain characteristics of The Times.The third is the influence of both eastern and western cultures.Ye shengtao draws on the strength of western culture and deeply explores the beauty of eastern culture.These influences are reflected in ye shengtao’s artistic creation and shape the aesthetic characteristics of his children’s prose.Chapter four discusses The Times value of aesthetic features in Ye Shengtao’s children’s prose works.In the creation of contemporary children’s literature,it inspires writers and artists to keep a pure heart forever,use appropriate language in writing,and take "beauty and love" as the creation tendency.In the aspect of children’s aesthetic education,it gives practical and useful suggestions on the function,teaching material and environment of aesthetic education,so that children’s aesthetic education can be carried out more efficiently.
