Since the new century,with the development of economy and the progress of society,the cultural environment is relatively loose.The new mainstream films have complied with the needs of the times and the audience,launched the exploration of commercialization,gradually broke the barriers between the political,commercial and artistic nature of films,and achieved a double harvest of ticket rooms and word-of-mouth.The birth to the new mainstream film is the product of the precipitation of Chinese films for a century.Compared with the main theme film,it has undergone great changes in theme,theme and mode of expression.Taking the domestic new mainstream films as the research object,this paper uses the methods of literature research,comparative research and content analysis to explore the innovation of the new mainstream films compared with the main theme films from the aspects of story theme and theme,characterization,typed narrative strategy and cultural internal drive,and to explore the development status of the new mainstream films,so as to provide reference to the later research of the new mainstream films.The first chapter first clarifies the connotation of the new mainstream film through the comparative analysis with the main theme film.The second chapter explore the material selection and themes of the new mainstream films,roughly divides the themes of the new mainstream films into revolutionary historical themes and realistic themes,and explores the themes of the times such as family and country feelings,universal values and individual destiny reflected in the new mainstream films.The third chapter makes a detailed analysis of the typical images of women,leaders,grass-roots cadres and civilian heroes in the new mainstream films,compares them with the similar images of the past main melody films,and summarizes the innovation of the new mainstream films in character shaping.The fourth chapter further explains the strong commercial attribute of the new mainstream film by carefully analyzing the typed narrative strategy of the new mainstream film and its type integration trend.The fifth chapter analyze the reasons for the good box office and reputation for the new mainstream film from the perspective of communication,and further excavates the internal cultural motivation behind the new mainstream films.Through the above research,on the one hand,it arranges and analyzes the current popular new mainstream films,and summarizes the relevant theories of new mainstream films.On the other hand,following the existing research model,this paper makes a more detailed study on the narrative themes,characters and narrative types of the new mainstream films.New mainstream films are now hot in China’s film market.Both the number of films and related research shows a blowout growth.Therefore,it is necessary to summarize and discuss it in depth.I hope this paper can provide a new vision of the research of domestic new mainstream films in the future and promote the new mainstream films to continue to develop well. |
