Films on spy-theme have experienced three stages before the New Century: getting popular in China during the Period of Liberation, flourishing and climaxing during the Seventeen Years, having setback and waning from the Cultural Revolution to the New Century. Films on spy theme revive and have further develop, shine new vitality during the New Century. It is because that the Requirement of movie Commercialization, that the filmdom seeks new outlet development, and that the film viewer is fondness for the films on spy theme. For getting rid of the durance of films on spy theme in the Seventeen Years, spy theme films in new century adopt intellectual politics of narrative strategy. They replace politics with intelligence, and give prominence the intelligence factor in political struggle. However, too much emphasis on the performance of "wisdom", it leads to be lack of core value in the films on spy theme. Films on spy theme in the New Century break the established practice about characterization of classical movies.They replace the inner world of image of female agent, and transfer form negative hero to positive image. The political identity of negative hero in the films has changed. The films pay attention to depicting inner world and psychic trauma of negative hero. In the context of consumerism, the body that was presented in films on spy theme become business strategy of the movies. The films lost the narrative significance of the image about the body. Female body is labeled clear political attribute, which has a vagueness relationship with politics.
