As a common value orientation of language education all over the world,the traditional elementary school textbook You Xue Qiong Lin has the characteristics of neat rhyming language,numerous allusions and close to life;You Xue Qiong Lin has the functions of standardization,education and entertainment;It can promote the development of Chinese traditional culture and improving students’ cultural accomplishment are helpful to Chinese teaching and practical application.All these three aspects enlighten us that we can consider using them to teach foreign students in learning Chinese.The article aims to study the theoretical and practical feasibility of You Xue Qiong Lin in teaching Chinese culture as a foreign language from the perspective of a second language.Guided by the teaching theory of multiple intelligences,following the teaching principles of gradual progress,seeking the common aspects while reserving differences and practicality,the teaching methods of story assistance,drama experiment class and film and television fragmentation learning are summarized.From the above overall design framework,the article aims to analyze the characteristics of teaching objects and materials,a typical online instructional design scheme is designed to cultivate students’ language,introspection and interpersonal intelligence.With questionnaire survey,classroom observation and interview to analyze the teaching practice effect.It is concluded that the introduction of You Xue Qiong Lin into teaching Chinese as a foreign language has good "innate conditions",but its real application in teaching Chinese as a foreign language requires us to "acquired knowledge ",which is to declare culture teaching should be combined with language elements teaching,classroom forms should be flexible and changeable,and teaching materials with appropriate contents should be screened.
