| Since 1990 s,the trend of overseas migration has gradually strengthened,more and more Chinese have migrated abroad.As their descendants,Chinese children have gradually become an important part of overseas Chinese language teaching.I have participated in the Chinese language teaching of overseas Chinese students in Swansea Chinese school as Hanban Volunteer teachers,and found some problems in the teaching process.The Chinese language teaching for overseas Chinese students is different from the traditional second language teaching,and also different from the domestic Chinese language teaching.It has a certain particularity.In order to understand the characteristics better of this group of Chinese learning,and take the corresponding teaching strategies,we take "the overseas Chinese students of Swansea Chinese School " as the research object,through the questionnaire survey method,interview method,classroom observation and comparative analysis,from thenselves,teachers,parents of the students and the local primary and secondary school students to understand and summarize the characteristics of Chinese learning of overseas Chinese students.This paper is divided into five parts.The first chapter introduces the reasons and significance of the topic selection,the current situation of Chinese language teaching for overseas Chinese students and British primary and secondary school students,research ideas,research objects and research methods.The second chapter compared the learning situation of overseas Chinese students in Chinese school with the situation of students in Britain local primary and secondary school students,combined with the results of parent questionnaire feedback to analysis and research from many aspects,summed up the characteristics of the Chinese language learning of the students who have dual cultural background.The third chapter sums up the difficulties of Chinese language teaching for overseas Chinese students in Swansea Chinese school through the analysis of Chinese School Teachers’ interview records and Chinese classroom observation.The fourth chapter puts forward some feasibleteaching suggestions and expectations,for the future development of Chinese schools in light of the learning characteristics and teaching difficulties of Chinese students in Chinese schools.The fifth chapter is epilogue.Hope that through this study,we can more clearly recognize the characteristics of overseas Chinese students in Chinese language learning,to give some inspiration to the Chinese teaching of this group,improve the Chinese teaching quality and learning effect of overseas Chinese students in Chinese school.Meanwhile,providing some teaching cases and data for future people’s research. |
