Virtual reality technology provides a virtual environment that allows students and teachers to freely move,operate and learn in the constructed virtual environment,experience scenes that cannot be constructed using simple graphics or videos,and enable learners to have a better perception of abstract concepts and invisible phenomena and understanding.This paper explores the demand and feasibility of using virtual reality technology in international Chinese education through research on existing materials and questionnaires.Through the use of some existing virtual reality platforms in international Chinese education,and by thinking and analyzing their advantages and limitations in international Chinese education,it provides inspiration for the development of international Chinese education.This paper conducts research through literature research method,survey research method and comparative research method.This paper closely follows the development of virtual reality technology,explores the feasibility of applying virtual reality technology in international Chinese language education,develops Chinese teaching cases on virtual platforms,analyzes and summarizes,and focuses on the advantages of virtual reality technology in international Chinese language education.And the existing problems,and put forward feasible suggestions for the application of virtual reality technology in international Chinese education,in order to solve the problems of traditional Chinese teaching as a foreign language due to geographical limitations and the lack of simulated target language environment for online teaching.It is hoped that this research will provide inspiration for the development of international Chinese education,enrich the forms of online teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and make better use of virtual reality technology to assist teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
