Objective:Objective:as an advanced item of cognitive function, executive function has a certain impact on the development of multiple abilities in the process of children’s growth.Children aged 7-9 are in a sensitive stage of executive function development.Previous studies have shown that most sports can promote the development of individual executive function of children at this age.Through the early search,it is found that there are few studies on the impact of sports dance and fencing on the development of children’s executive function, especially in fencing. Most of the previous studies are aimed at professional athletes.Because the differences in sports characteristics will have different effects on the development of individual executive functions, this study hopes to use the event group theory to distinguish the two sports, use three typical task paradigms to explore the impact and differences of fencing and sports dance training on the executive functions of children aged 7-9,promote the popularity of the two sports, and hope to encourage more children to participate in sports.Methods:34 children aged 7-9 years(18 in fencing group and 16 in sports dance group)completed the study. They were intervened with fencing training or sports dance training for 90 minutes three times a week for 12 weeks. Before the intervention, understand the basic personal information of all subjects, complete the questionnaire, and evaluate the baseline. Before and after the intervention, test the subjects on three tasks(Stroop task,1-back task and More-odd shifting task),evaluate the execution function of the subjects according to the response time and accuracy performance, and compare the changes of various indicators of the two groups before and after 12 weeks,Reflect the development of the subject’s executive function.Results:(1)In Stroop task, there was significant difference between fencing group and sports dance group under the time main effect(P<0.05),and there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).(2)In Stroop task, the correct rate of interference condition before and after intervention in fencing group and sports dance group was significantly different under the main effect of time(P<0.05),and the correct rate of consistent condition was significantly different under the main effect of time(P<0.05).(3)In the 1-back task, there was a significant difference between the fencing group and the sports dance group before and after the intervention in refreshing the task response under the time main effect(P<0.05),the time*group found the interaction effect(P<0.05),the accuracy was very significant under the time main effect(P<0.05),and the time*group found the interaction effect(P<0.05),Therefore,a simple effect analysis was further carried out.It was found that there were significant differences in response time and accuracy after intervention and in fencing group(P<0.05).There was significant difference in the accuracy of consistent conditions under the main effect of time(P<0.05),and there was significant difference between the groups(P<0.05).(4)In the more odd shifting task, there was significant difference between the fencing group and the sports dance group in the time main effect of switching task and single task response before and after the intervention(P<0.05),and there was significant difference between the two groups in the time main effect of switching task and single task response(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)12 weeks of fencing and sports dance training improved the task performance of 7-9-year-old children in completing executive function, and had a positive impact on the development of executive function of 7-9-year-old children.(2)After 12 weeks of different sports training intervention, combined with the characteristics of the two sports, the intervention effect of Fencing Training on refresh function for children aged 7-9 is better than sports dance training.
