| Management philosophy is an important branch of modern philosophy and an interdisciplinary subject that reflects on the basic problems of management from the height of philosophy.Reflecting on modern management,while China’s material civilization is developing rapidly,the society has shown that individuals have lost their faith.This phenomenon is manifested in the loss of humanistic spirit and the separation of people’s internal spiritual world from the external objective world.The reason is that due to the inflow of Western management ideas,and did not connect well with its own traditional culture.Because of the separation of history and cultural inheritance,Chinese management thought deviates from the original path.In order to solve this problem,we should not only absorb western management ideas,but also reinterpret the concepts from the West with Chinese management thinking.The Confucian management thought in pre-Qin period is one of the main frame of Chinese management thought.Therefore,by refocusing and studying this thought,especially from the perspective of "Rectify One’s Heart",we can open a new research perspective to understand the pre-Qin Confucian management thought.It also has important theoretical and practical significance for us to construct the modern management philosophy system critically and guide the modern social management.This article studies the management thought with "Rectify One’s Heart" as the breakthrough point.The traditional Chinese Confucian management theory takes state governance as the theme,and its basic ideology is " Cultivate Oneself to Benefit Others".Among them,"correcting people’s heart "is the fundamental goal of national governance,and "correcting my heart" is the self-management behavior that the governing body must take in order to achieve the goal.This means that "Rectify One’s Heart" is a management activity that starts from" correcting my heart" and ends with"correcting people’s hearts".It not only seeks for appropriateness and order in the differences between people and things,but also enhances the peace and happiness of people in the social environment.Among them," correcting my heart " refers to the self-management of the state governor to his own heart,including the management of his own thought,psychology and behavior root.In the Confucian management thoughts of pre-Qin Dynasty,the goal of governors is to shape the ideal personality of management subjects through"self-management".The ideal personality consists of two levels,"Junzi" and "sage"."Junzi" is usually used for people who have both political integrity and ability,and can participate in the governance of the country.It is a realistic ideal personality.The "sage"is the highest level of personality in Confucianism and the ultimate pursuit of self-management of Confucian scholars."Correcting my heart" reflects a conscious activity of self-regulation and improvement of the governing subject.The main method to complete this management activity is cognition and practice,namely "learning" and"raising",seeking the original mind from both inside and outside,and finally realizing the goal of self-management of ideal personality."Correcting people’s hearts" is the final foothold and significance of management activities,which is carried out in the organization and management to make people rich both materially and spiritually.Based on the theory of goodness of nature,organizational management is not only a process of adaptation to human nature,but also a process of shaping human nature.The essence of management is to realize people’s moral attributes through social activities,which has a certain nature and inevitability.According to Confucianism,the naturalness of management refers to the innate moral goodness of everyone and the tendency of self-management,which reflects the consciousness and behavior of self-management.The inevitability of management is embodied in organizational management,which standardizes the behavior of people in the society through education and management system.In this passive way to perfect the moral goodness of man.This is conducive to the harmonious and orderly progress and development of society.Therefore,the management mode and means of "correcting people’s hearts " should be based on the principle of understanding the law and the way of heaven and following the practice of humanity.In other words,only the practice of "Rite and Education" and "Punishment" organizational management can ensure the smooth operation of management activities.China’s development is a comprehensive development,not only in the economy and politics,but also in the soft power of ideology and culture.Therefore,it is of great significance to improve China’s comprehensive national strength to combine the pre-Qin Confucian management philosophy with contemporary social management and study its value in contemporary Chinese management practice. |
