| Lu Jiuyuan is the representative figure of “Lu Wang’s theory of mind”,and most scholars focus on the concept of “Mind” in his thought. At present, most of the theoretical models of its research are confined to the fixed models of ontology,cosmology,mind-nature theory, time theory and the comparison with the thought of Cheng and Zhu,such a research model would split and divide the composition and internal structure of Lu Jiuyuan’s thought. As an excellent traditional Chinese academic,Lu Jiuyuan’s thought has always existed and developed as a whole. If we analyze his thought in the frame of fixed theory mode,we will neglect the important part of his easy-to-learn thought. In order to explore Lu Jiuyuan’s thought comprehensively, the author tries to link Lu Jiuyuan’s thought with the core thread of yi-ology on the basis of the existing achievements,in order to embody his spiritual life and essence more effectively. The first chapter, mainly discusses the history and origin of Lu Jiuyuan’s thought on the rule of Yi.First of all, from its growing environment and academic background to accurately grasp the historical background of the birth of Lu Jiuyuan’s thought, thus more in-depth understanding of the origin of his thought of the book of changes. Then combined with chronology and biographical data, studying Lu Jiuyuan’s life of the Yi dynasty: his academic thought starts from the theory of“Nothing without self”,which he made at the age of 13 because he was discontented with Cheng Yi At the age of thirty-seven,the meeting of Goose Lake made Zhu and Lu submit to the discussion of “Three Chen and nine diagrams” to verify the formation of his thought of Yi Studies When he was 50 years old,his lecture in Xiangshan was not only the most prosperous period in his life, but also the perfect period of his yi-ology Up until the last year of his life,he used his profound and rich ideas of Yi in Hongdao,Jingmen,to benefit the local people from the inside out. Finally,it examines the multiple academic sources of Lu Jiuyuan’s yi-ology,and concludes that apart from the direct influence of the text of the Book of changes,it can not be separated from the influence of family learning, the thought of “Five sons of the Northern Song dynasty”,Mencius’ s theory of mind and nature,Lü Zuqian’s theory of Yi Learning and ZEN’s theory of sudden enlightenment. The second chapter discusses Lu Jiuyuan’s interpretation of the classics and biography of the Book of changes. Not satisfied with the way of interpreting the book of changes before and in order to properly understand and interpret the book of changes in his heart,Lu Jiuyuan made a thorough investigation into the source of the book of changes itself and sought to apply it to his heart,i tried my best to explore the original meaning of the book of changes, and thus embarked on a brand-new way to govern the book of changes.Lu Jiuyuan’s fundamental views on the book of changes can be derived from his interpretations of the important issues in the book of changes and the hexagrams in the book of changes, from this,we can find out the general direction and tone of Lu Jiuyuan’s yi-ology.This chapter will discuss Lu Jiuyuan’s views on the book of changes in three parts: first,Lu Jiuyuan’s views on the basic position of the author of the Book of changes in the history of the book of changes, such as the concept of “Eight diagrams”,“Yi dao” and “Divination”;The second is Lu Jiuyuan’s interpretation and application of the thirteen hexagrams in the I Ching. In the end,it summarizes and analyzes the style and characteristics of Lu Jiuyuan’s interpretation of Yi.The third chapter discusses the characteristics of Lu Jiuyuan’s yi-ology.The most outstanding feature of Lu Jiuyuan’s yi-ology is that it embodies the characteristic of xiu-qi-zhi-ping.Through the comprehensive application of the classics of Yi,Jing, and Four Books and Five Classics,he expounds the cosmology of mind, the relationship between mind and reason, the concept of knowing and doing, and the static restoration of the original mind.Since his childhood,Lu Jiubuan has always been skeptical, always upholding the spirit of doubt, the doubt of the "Yi",and advocated the clear "reason" to explain the doubt, and "six scriptures note me" method of solving the "Yi".Lu Jiubuan weakened the divination-based work of Yijing, and the interpretation of Gua was transformed into the practice of mentalism, thus realising the transition from Yijing to the practice of mentalism.Lu Jiufen transformed the "difficult work of discernment" into the "easy work of knowledge" by using the method of "easy simplicity",the use of the "big centre to keep the centre",the softness and simplicity of energy, and the ability to last for a long time.He transformed the "difficult work of discernment" into "the work of easy knowledge" by using the "Great Middle and Keeping the Middle",the "soft and simple energy",and the "easy and simple" work that could last for a long time and could be big.Lu Jiufen has the ideal of a sage who advances both virtue and industry, believing that advancing virtue and cultivating industry are mutually inclusive and indispensable. On the one hand,he clarified through the order of the nine trigrams that virtue is achieved through gradual cultivation, and the three talents of the Yi to clarify how to become an adult;on the other hand,he integrated the contents of the Yi and devoted himself to the teaching profession. In his view, the outline of the sage’s way of "becoming oneself and becoming something" lies in "keeping sincerity and broadening virtue" : inside is the "idle evil and keeping its sincerity" of the Yi,and outside is the "broadening virtue and transforming virtue" of the Yi.Inside,it is the "idle evils and sincerity" of the Yi,and then it is pushed to the outside world, where "virtue is broadened and transformed",to reach the "Way of Supreme Sincerity" of the Meanwhile.Lu Jiuyuan’s social pursuit is: "the way of profit and loss" to support the people with good governance,"reforming the old and introducing the new" to make changes to the law in a measured manner, and "managing money and rhetoric" to distinguish between righteousness and profitability. The fourth chapter mainly discusses the status and influence of Lu Jiuyuan’s yi-ology.The content includes Lu Jiuyuan’s influence on the development of the yi-ology thought of the“Five sons of the Northern Song dynasty”(taking Zhou Dunyi and Cheng Yi as examples),the similarities and differences with those of Lü Zuqian and Zhu Xi,and the influence on the yi-ology of the song and Ming dynasties(represented by Yang Jian,Wang Yangming and Wang Ji).On the premise that the spirit of Lu Jiuyuan’s thought is reflected correctly, this paper tries to enrich the study of Lu Jiuyuan’s thought system in an all-round way from the angle of Yi Studies. This will not only promote the position and function of yi-xue in Lu Jiuyuan’s thought system, find the important source of his thought of mind, but also make Yi-xue’s thought no longer dissociate from Lu Jiuyuan’s thought system. On the one hand, the study of mind has a new interpretation of the transformation of the Deep Foundation to support the study of Yi,on the other hand, the study of Yi has also been re-established in the context of the study of mind. |
