The Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji is the representative work of Japanese ukiyo-e painter Katsushika Hokusai,and it is also a worldrenowned classic masterpiece.After research,it was found that the series of works presented a strong visual guidance.Visual guidance is a means for creators to effectively convey information to viewers,which can provide important clues for viewers to interpret the main theme of the picture.This paper mainly explores the visual guidance method and its theoretical basis in this series of works,and analyzes the aesthetic experience brought by the visual guidance mechanism to the viewer.The purpose of the research is to promote the integration of theory and practice,and to guide their own creation with the research results.The article mainly summarizes five visual guidance methods,and adopts the corresponding Gestalt psychology theory to explain,and discusses the application of visual guidance methods in the author’s creative practice in detail.
