With the deepening of the reform of education,relevant research based on classroom teaching has been developing,the attention to the discussion of the effectiveness of various aspects of the classroom teaching process has gradually increased,among which,the lead-in plays the role of the making the finishing point at the beginning of a class.In addition,teachers can not only quickly attract the attention of students and make them enter the classroom in a good learning state,but also help students clear the teaching objectives and effectively stimulate their desire to learn by carrying out lead-in effectively and reasonably.It is since the importance and practical significance of lead-in in teaching that this paper conducts a specific study on the implementation effect of the lead-in in English reading teaching in junior high school from two aspects including related theories and practice,then focusing on the following questions:(1)What are the current situations of the lead-in in English reading teaching in junior high school?(2)What measures can be taken to improve the effectiveness of the lead-in in English reading teaching in junior high school?Based on the theory of learning motivation,advance organization theory and multiple intelligence theory,the author takes 200 students and 6 English teachers in the second grade of a Middle School in Xi’an as the research subjects.Through the methods of questionnaire,interview and classroom observation to explore the implementation effect of the lead-in in English reading teaching in junior high school,it is found that the following problems occurred in the implementation process,such as poor performance in stimulating the interest of students in learning for teachers,teachers cannot well establish a good connection between new and old knowledge,and teachers lacked skilled lead-in skills.Therefore,this research investigates and put forward corresponding improvement measures to deepen the understanding of teachers of lead-in in English reading teaching through continuous reflection and improvement according to the problems in the implementation of the lead-in in English reading teaching,so as to better help teachers improve their ability to design and implement lead-in in English reading teaching and ensure the important role of classroom lead-in effectively. |
