Study On The Image And Artistic Conception Of Corot’s Landscape Paintings

Corot was in Europe in the 19 th century,when neoclassicism,romanticism and realism were surging in the European painting world.Therefore,corot’s paintings had both static composition of classicism and romantic atmosphere.At the same time,Corot’s artistic achievement lies not only in the inheritance and development of predecessors,but also in his own aesthetic and life experience,thus forming a unique image and aesthetic conception transmission.Since he was young,Corot has had a warm love for nature,which has led to the formation of the concept of nature as a teacher of art,and lifelong learning.From the early focus on static composition and geometric structure of the picture,the focus turned to the exploration of natural light and the expression of emotion,and found that the fresh colors and flowing air in nature had strong vitality,which endowed the picture with an aesthetic conception beyond the real nature.Based on the distinct landscape as the breakthrough point,combined with the specific paintings,through combing koro shicheng,distinct artistic style formation process,and in distinct from contemporary painter contrast,analysis all the uniqueness of the image and artistic conception expression in landscape works,to show image and artistic conception is the vivid reflection of the artist personality.Finally,combining with his own creative experience and the characteristics of corot’s landscape works in different periods in composition,this paper discusses the inspiration corot’s landscape paintings give to his own creation from two aspects: the selection of creation objects and the importance of feeling transmission.
