The article introduces the local opera popular in Zoucheng area: Liuqin opera from three aspects: the origin of Liuqin opera,the artistic characteristics and regional influence of Liuqin opera,and the inheritance and development of Liuqin opera,taking the introduction of the non-heritage items in Zoucheng area as the starting point.Local opera is an important part of traditional Chinese opera,but in the context of economic globalization,it faces the dilemma of survival and development.Although local operas are still being created and performed,the declining audience and shrinking market is a reality that cannot be ignored.Opera music is also an important part of China’s ethnic folk music,and as music learners,they also have an inescapable responsibility for the inheritance of excellent traditional culture.Some local theatrical genres are little known because of their small spread,small audience and small number of inheritors,and therefore are in danger of being lost,and even in their circulation range only the older people know about them.These excellent traditional culture should be promoted more to let more people understand and love,in order to pass on the development from generation to generation.
