| The musical "Notre Dame de Paris" is adapted from the immortal masterpiece of French literary master Victor Hugo(1802-1885),with lyrics by French-Canadian lyricist Luc Plamondon(1942-),German composer Composed by Richard Cocciante(1946-),the play premiered in1998 and was a huge success.There are 51 songs in the play,and each song has a unique style.Among them,Esmeralda is the central character of the play,and her various styles of arias have precious research value.This article focuses on the three classic arias of Esmeralda,and the overall structure is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is about the life and creation of the original author of "Notre Dame de Paris" and the composer of the musical "Notre Dame de Paris" and the development of French musicals.The second chapter is about the lyrics and musical styles of the three arias of Esmeralda.Characteristics begin to be analyzed.The third chapter is about the characteristics and artistic treatment of vocal music.Through the analysis of Esmeralda’s three classic arias,we have a deeper understanding of the character’s style and characteristics,which enriches the research results of Esmeralda’s characters in China. |
