Musical Image And Performance Analysis Of The Piano Solo Version Of "Carnival Of The Animals

The main work studied in this paper is the piano solo version of the orchestral suite "animal Carnival" created by French music master Saint sang in 1886.The piano solo version of this work was adapted by French composer and music editor Lucien overtime in 1951.This paper compares the orchestral version and piano solo version of Saint Sang’s animal carnival,and analyzes the similarities and differences of the two versions in the imitation of animal images.It further expounds how to restore the sound effect of orchestral music through the sound of piano,and use piano to better express the musical images of various animals in the works.This paper also analyzes the piano playing skills combined with my playing experience,and shows the unique charm of the piano solo version of animal Carnival through piano playing.
