Abstract/Summary:
Whether it is Chinese students learning foreign languages or foreign students learning Chinese, the learning of tone expression is a common difficulty.Chinese teaching should not only teach students to use vocabulary and grammar, but also pay attention to teaching students to properly use the target language to express their emotions and attitudes. In modern Chinese, mood is mainly expressed through sentence structure, pronunciation, and vocabulary with the help of modal particles.Modal adverbs are a kind of vocabulary expressing tone and a sub-category of modern Chinese adverbs. They have similarities and individual differences with adverbs.Adverbs themselves are a difficult point for foreign students to learn Chinese, and mood adverbs have strong subjectivity,so it is even more difficult. The domestic research on the ontology of Chinese modality adverbs has achieved a wealth of results, but most of them analyze some modifiers from a statically and isolated perspective. The conversational analysis that emerged in the last century has had a huge impact on the production of interactive linguistics.Although domestic research on interactive linguistics is still immature, the author believes that the dynamic and subjective aspects of modality adverbs are examined from an interactive perspective. The language component has great research value. In view of this situation, the author tries to analyze the meaning and usage of modality adverbs dynamically and systematically from the perspective of interactive linguistics. This paper uses the conversation analysis method to analyze the functional performance of mood adverbs when taking a turn, and finds that at the beginning of a turn, most of the mood adverbs can act as part of the first TCU to open a corresponding turn,or act as an independent TCU to open a corresponding turn. The function of mood adverbs in turn-holding and turn-ending is related to the subjective quantity of mood adverbs. The TCU of subjective small-quantity mood adverbs may become the best turn-ending unit to end a turn;TCUs that contain a large number of subjective mood adverbs Helps keep turns during interactions. In addition, this paper also finds the relationship between mood adverbs and discourse markers from the semantic and pragmatic characteristics of mood adverbs, demonstrates the rationality of mood adverbs as discourse markers, and defines the range of mood adverbs that can be used as discourse markers..Through conversation analysis, the possible functions of the modal adverb "not necessarily" as a discourse marker in interactive communication are also summarized.
