During the replacement period of Wei and Jin Dynasties, fierce and cruel political struggles and turbulent and complex social environment made the mentality of scholars in this special period complicated, contradictory and changeable.Ji Kang,as the key figure of the famous group "The Seven Sages of the Bamboo Forest",and as a relative of Cao Wei,was inevitably involved in the confrontation between wei and Sima’s group, and finally fell into prison and was killed by sima’s group, becoming a victim of the political struggle. In this regime struggle,ji Kang’s state of mind changed intricately from a positive attitude to a fearful one,in order to save his life and hide from misfortune.Ji Kang’s uncooperative attitude towards sima’s regime and his jealous and honest personality prevented him from escaping completely. On the one hand,he lashed out at the dark society under the rule of Sima’s regime and ridiculed the false name of Sima’s doctrine. On the other hand, due to sima’s cruelty and tyranny,he avoided disaster and exalted life, entrusted nature, and pursued health preservation and prolonging life. However, with Sima’s relentless approach,ji Kang was forced to die generously to prove his cruel and despicable usurpation of power, and his death firmly cemented sima on the column of historical shame.During the period of wei and Jin dynasties, the contradiction between individual pursuit and reality made ji Kang’s heart unable to get real peace, and was always full of hesitation and pain.Based on ji Kang’s literary creation, this paper probes into his mental state of mind during the dark and turbulent regime change by understanding and analyzing his life story, character, political stand and life choice. |
