Research On Yuan Dynasty Sanqu Poems About History And Nostalgi

The historical and nostalgic theme is one of the most important themes since Ban Gu created the Chanting History,and all kinds of literary genres,such as poem,ci,qu and fu,have ever based on the historical and nostalgic theme.Sanqu represents the important achievenment of literature in Yuan Dynasty,which belongs to the category of poetry.The writers of Yuan Sanqu,who were influenced by traditional poem and ci,also created Sanqu of the historical and nostalgic theme.What’s more,the Yuan Sanqu on the historical and nostalgic theme is of great importance for showing the sense of worth of literati in Yuan Dynasty and the social reality of Yuan Dynasty.However,in resent research results,scholars often pay lots of attention to the great writer and the masterpieces of Yuan Sanqu,so the systematic and comprehensive study of Yuan Sanqu remains inadequate.For this reason,this paper will study Yuan Sanqu on the historical and nostalgic theme comprehensively,which includes the research on the theme,the ideological inclination and the art characteristic.On this foundation,the cultural psychology of the writers is discussed in order to make a comprehensive and in-depth study of Yuan Sanqu on the historical and nostalgic theme.This paper mainly includes the following parts:The first part is the introduction.This part explains the reason for choosing this topic,and give the definition of Yuan Sanqu on the historical and nostalgic theme in order to define the scope of the study.Then the current research results about Yuan Sanqu on the historical and nostalgic theme is sorted out to make clear the achievenments and the deficiencies of the research about this topic.Finaly,the research ideas and methods of this paper is summarized briefly.The second part,including one,two and three chapters,is the analisis about the text of Yuan Sanqu on the historical and nostalgic theme,which is devieded into three small parts: theme,ideological inclination and art characteristic.The fisrt chapter divides the content into chanting historical figures,describing historical events and sighing for the historica ancient city.The second chapter discusses the ideological inclination of Yuan Sanqu on the historical and nostalgic theme,which covers recluse thought,the unconventional historical evaluation and sympathy for women.The third chapter concludes the art characteristic of Yuan Sanqu on the historical and nostalgic theme,such as having many Sanqu sequences,the artistic style of both refined and popular tastes and with stylized characteristics.The third part,the fourth chapter of this paper,is to explore the writer’s cultural psychology for creating Yuan Sanqu on the historical and nostalgic theme.The first section in the fourth chaper analyses the writer’s cultural psychology from three angles,the cultural tradition of attaching importance to history,the philosophical thinking on time and space and promoting elegance of Sanqu.The second,third and fourth section are based on the second chapter,which mainly talk about the literati mentality of Yuan Dynasty which is contained by the ideological inclination.Finaly,the appendix of this paper lists all the Yuan Sanqu on the historical and nostalgic theme.
