Research On Decorative Patterns Of Stone Carving Art In Lianghu Ancient Village

Lianghu Village is located in the southeast of Shanxi Province,belonging to the ancient Shangdang area.It is a traditional village with a long history and profound culture.Most of the buildings in the village were built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Influenced by the concept of "farming,reading and family transmission",the residential buildings in Lianghu Village gradually formed a unique architectural community on the land of China.The combination of architecture and decoration reflects the social customs,economic politics and religious culture at that time,so has important artistic and historical culture.value.Based on the field investigation and analysis of the cultural background of Lianghu Ancient Village,this paper studies the decorative patterns on the stone components of the folk houses in Lianghu ancient village,and finds that the stone carving art decorative patterns in Lianghu ancient village have strong regional characteristics.However,the decorative patterns are in a relatively marginal position in the traditional architectural research.Predecessors have done more research on the ancient villages of Lianghu,but there is a lack of systematic research and summary of the decorative patterns on the stone components.The research mainly focuses on the decorative patterns of the stone components of the residential buildings in Lianghu ancient village.The regional scope is centered on the ancient village of Lianghu,and the time scope is the Ming and Qing Dynasties.In this paper,the stone building components of Lianghu Ancient Village are selected as the key discussion objects,which have many carved decorative patterns.Then,the characteristics of decorative patterns are more clearly displayed,in the end the artistic modeling characteristics and cultural connotations of decorative patterns are studied.This article discusses from the following parts.The first part presents an overview of the stone carving art of Lianghu Ancient Village,including its natural,geographical and historical factors,the stone materials and techniques used in carving,and the classification of architectural stone components mainly studied in this paper;The second part summarizes and comb the pattern types of the decorative patterns of the building stone components in Lianghu Ancient Village,as well as the examples of stone carving patterns and their line drawings collected through the investigation.The third part analyzes the decorative artistry of stone carving decorative patterns in Lianghu ancient village,including the composition characteristics and formal beauty rules of patterns on various building stone components,so as to understand the composition beauty of patterns;the fourth part compares and analyzes the stone carving art of Lianghu ancient village with that of Jinzhong area and Huizhou area;The fifth part analyzes the humanistic spirit and cultural connotation contained in the decorative patterns of the stone carvings in Lianghu Ancient Village.Through the above comb and research on the decorative patterns of stone carvings in Lianghu Ancient Village,we can see the big from the small,reflecting the characteristics of decorative patterns of folk houses in southeastern Shanxi,and providing a useful reference for the protection of traditional residential stone carving art and decorative patterns.
